Nope. She's a professional. Her calmness, timing, and execution was perfect, and besides she had the advantage of element of surprise (the robber didn't expect those moms to be armed).

She knew there was no risk to the women and children if she hit the guy, and she did. Would have been more risky if she didn't try to demobilize the Armed robber.

If the ladies bullet had gone through him it could have hit an innocent.

If the robber had returned fire while he was on the ground and she was attempting to take cover behind the car, an innocent could have got hit.

She shouldn't have done that. The street was too crowded. The risk was not minimal enough[/s].

The driver of that red car obviously wanted to deprive that heroic woman of her cover, by trying to drive off when the female officer took a firing position behind the car. Then the immbecile nearly ran over the officer AFTER the gunman was down and the woman moved into the street to disarm him.

That dickhead car driver qualified for at least a few days in jail, for obstructing a police emergency response.
