Osaze007...you've been on about this your matter since Part 3. (At least that's when i noticed.)
Do you want to shed more light?
If not, I'll say relax and leave it to God. HE is more than able to handle it. Trust me when i say leave it in God's hands.
HE will never leave you nor forsake you.

Chai.... You see the bolded below is not necessary... Better you screengrab this your message because If you need help later and people dey waka pass, you can use it as a reminder...
By the way... CRS/Express Entry Eligibility tool is on PAGE 0

v3:
I'm not sure if you guys are trolling or having comprehension issues. undecided

I asked a question about ND in relation to Express Entry requirements, and was referred to the first page. I got there and saw nothing (see my response) in relation to the question i asked. I clicked on the CIC link and found the CRS/Express Entry Eligibility tool, which i posted.

I'm not here to argue/fight with anyone, I just wanted a question answered.

Thanks. cool

Good day all. Thank you for the good work so far. I took time to read good portions of parts 1-3 and this but I will be grateful if my question gets answered.

I am 32 years old and a lawyer and hubby is 36 and an Engineer. We both have no Masters. I felt he should be the primary applicant because

1. My university grade is not so pleasant though i made a 2:1 in law school (I don't know if it is a factor)
2. It would be easier to get his transcript from unilag than my school in the East with the attendant logistics.

So he registered with WES yesterday, paid and got the code, he has also paid for the transcript with his school today.

i stumbled on a post here now that a law degree is given the same score as Masters and they advised the lady who is a lawyer to be the primary applicant. I also discovered that with my age, I should be able to gain higher scores than him.

My question is that is it possible to cancel the WES process he has started and get a refund? If i am the primary applicant, will he need to verify his certificates with WES later in the process to justify the WES expense incurred?

Answers will be appreciated.

Thank you

Waiting for extra degree or scores to drop.

Eeya. You can try the ACCA option. Read this post for more details. It will end in praise.

From you profile you must as a matter of fact be the principal applicant (PA).
You're younger and your law degree will assessed by IQAS as a professional degree.(notice the bold). Your grade is immaterial.
However, you being the PA is dependent on whether you have work experience (1 - 3 Years).
Again, make sure your IELTS score is up to an acceptable level. 8777 in LRWS or more.
I wont advise your husband to cancel the WES application. It will just add more points to your crs score.
Start your evaluation with IQAS immediately. It takes more time than WES.

Well... What you stumbled on (the emboldened below) is correct...

As for WES, i dont know if they would be able to refund your hubby but what i think you can do is contact them and probably suggest that you want to cancel his application. Also since he has paid for his transcript and because of age factor, if there is money, you can leave his evaluation to go on and you do a seperate evaluation, it would add more points for you guys...

Thank you smslive2. It is good to know that his WES verification will add more points so it is not a waste.

2. It would be easier to get his transcript from unilag than my school in the East with the attendant logistics. You should make the sacrifice and get your education evaluated. Use IQAS as they give law a positive evaluation i.e. same as masters. Also with your age you will definitely get more points

So he registered with WES yesterday, paid and got the code, he has also paid for the transcript with his school today.

I wouldn't advise he cancels it because you guys may need it to increase your score and in the long run he may also need it while searching for jobs in Canada when you eventually get the PR Visa

Answers will be appreciated.

Thank you

You should also simulate your scores with the CRS tool go to page 0 you'll find the link there

All will be well.
It's not easy when you face hostility at work.
However, i advise you to wear a smile on your face all the time, pretend as if the problems don't exist and when your PPR comes, you'll have the last laugh.
It will definitely end in praise sooner than you expect.

This article just got me unsettled.

Weigh in on this e-fam. I had additional two degrees (MPhil and BSc) after AOR. I finished the programs but didn't have the results yet at the point of AOR (Nov). I didn't include them in my app that I was doing the programs (personal history and education), as I felt it was not necessary since I haven't been awarded the results and cert yet, neither was I claiming any CRS point with them. Beside, then I felt it might put a question mark on my working experience which I was on full time while still doing these programs in School full time. However, One is a research based program and the other a distance learning program (NOUN). I have the results now as the Masters was issued late Nov. after AOR and BSc in January 2018. Can this been seen as Misrepresentation. Do I need to inform CIC about additional academic qualifications obtained?

As if the tension of waiting for PPR or CPOC abi na CPCO or CPCL no dey enough this misrepresentation story by @doppler06 just dey disturb me. Abeg make una helep me look into this mata na. Ejor... Biko nu. undecided Barely sleep 5 hours daily since ghost update, now this.

Are you serious? I've never seen an eye test where they check only one eye, but as an unofficial general rule, if whatever you think might be a red flag (either being blind in one eye or others) will not burden the Canadian govt. then you're good to go. I haven't done medicals so I have no idea, you can read up on CIC website for more info. My 2cents
