Wow! Congratulations!!!

Contact your school to inform them once you get your COPR so that they can change your legal status to a domestic student. The funding you got as an international student will likely be cancelled and then you will be considered for a full scholarship (meant for domestic students). I got the same offer and was given full funding. Congrats once again.

Hello Everyone
Please i need urgent advise for my sister's situation. She has gotten her PR since December meanwhile her 2yr old daughter (turned 2 this April) wasnt given a PR because they said that she is entitled to Canadian citizenship by birth. (place of birth Nigeria)

Due to their lawyers negligence to apply for citizenship cert for their daughter since November, they just applied in March and we dont know when the temporary or permanent cert will be given.

My question is, Is there any other means via which she can travel to Canada at least with her daughter to meet with her husband? PLS URGENT as PR will expire September. Thanks

Yes but he will need to check the requirements for each province. For instance, to be considered under SINP and MPNP, the candidate must score a minimum of 60 points out of 100. For Nova Scotia, the candidate must score a minimum of 67 points out of 100. He should check the PNP thread for more details.

He can go through PNP other stream/pathway but definitely not EE because 67 is the minimum requirements to open EE profile. There are many programs under PNP he can explore better still he can improve on others requirements to meet up the 67 points i.e IELTS, Degree, relatives, TEF and job offer as the case may be
