Are you in Nigeria? If you are, you must have these things before you can proceed.
1. Payoneer mastercard
2. A registered Amazon seller central account. https://services.amazon.com/content/sell-on-amazon.htm?ld=SCSOAlogin
please, I am interested in this business o but I don't have the money and other requirements yet. Any videos(i know you have uploaded some) relating to it where I can learn from as a starter will be welcomed.

Even $1,000,000 is not enough shocked
Just kidding, $1,000 will do but it's best with at a least $2,000 - $10,000

Why all these amounts, you will outsource your store for product listing, product research, fulfillment and customer service. Inventory management software also needs some subcription too, etc.

An outsourced store grows much faster than a store managed by an individual. Imagine a fuel filling station run by one worker vs another run by many workers.

If I can lay hand on a complete tutorial, I will send one to you. The tutorials fees start from mostly $3,000 dollars which is huge for local Nigerians.

Hello boss. I tried to open a seller account on Amazon but I got stuck on the first page. They were asking me for my legal name. Could that mean my name or my business name?

The thread will be up hopefully next week. I am looking at how to connect new persons and how they can acquire some knowledge on the business. All these things require some cost but I am looking at the lowest possible means to acquire this knowledge from a mentor who tutorial is between from $500-$3000.

I have discussed with him and hopefully if I arrive at a price which is cheaper than the amounts stated above, I will open a thread and possibly a blog.

Stay tuned.

Payoneer needed @340/$
Re: . by obyback: 2:44pm On May 28, 2018
EMMAACHILE:

Hahaha.

I might setup it up the thread today. Put some tutorials up there with links and then for those who have large sums, will guide on outsourcing to start their business.

If you are in Nigeria, you will need some little assistance especially in the payoneer verification system to maximize your Amazon setup to use a US billing address. This is a must.
OK, I will be waiting

What This is crazy. I thought you had mentioned about $500 starting capital for dropshipping on your other thread.

I've been wanting to start and was happy when I stumbled on your thread only to see this post with this huge sum. This is really depressing and discouraging.
EMMAACHILE:
If I eventually learn the ecomerce on my own, I may eventually teach others how to earn.
The only problem I see with ecomerce is the large starting sum (recommended $5000-$10000) for the dropshipping service by Amazon run by trained virtual assistants. Most take a minimum of $1000-2000 flat fee per month.
Meaning running another thing lower than those sum puts you in the negative.

How? I would love to start but don't know how to.

Re: . by Amberon11: 10:25am On Jul 26, 2018
Hello, not trying to negate your claims but I have watched several videos and asked questions in this Amazon dropshipping and most of them said you actually don't need any capital for the dropshipping since you do not need any inventory.

Pls can you expatiate on this? Thanks.
EMMAACHILE:

It's best you learn the ropes and invest yourself. If an individual knows how to run this things especially the Amazon Marketplace , you can even start with a $300 account since there will be no monthly fees to pay any hired worker.
A partnership can only work if individuals know each other very well like old friends or relations or brothers.

Unfortunately, the eBay marketplace requires the least amount of currency ($100) to start but is not legally accepted in Nigeria. If you are outside Nigeria, it will much easier to run. I told my sister in the UK to start an eBay UK account but she looks reluctant to do it as many people are wary of change.

So, how do you get the goods from China to the hands of those
who needs it in the US?

Let me come in here, though I wasn't asked. Lol

Amazon dropshipping is different from shopify dropshipping.

With shopify, you order from aliexpress and sell on your shopify store. You only need money for small subscriptions here and there.

Amazon dropshipping involves buying from popular US stores and selling on Amazon. With Amazon dropshipping, you need huge cash because a client pays you money and the money remains in your Amazon account, and this money must remain in your Amazon account for 14 days before being released to you. So, you have to use your own money to fulfill orders pending when Amazon releases your funds.

Visit the OP's thread about dropshipping, on the first page of the thread, watch the videos there, you will understand how Amazon dropshipping works. It is different from shopify dropshipping.

With shopify dropshipping, buyers have to wait for close to 2 to 3 weeks for their orders to be shipped from China. While with Amazon, the US stores ship almost immediately to buyers since they are in the same location.

Wow, thanks for your reply. Honestly I've been wanting to start Amazon dropshipping but due to the restrictions I've been unable to. By restrictions I mean US address, p.o box and an LLC.

I haven't really taken my time to follow everything the op said on his thread but I will now that you mentioned it and I hope you will be available to a few questions from me if you don't mind since the op appears to be too busy.

By the way, which do you do and which do you think would be better for a novice like me? Thanks.

I don't think the OP is busy as to not respond to queries. He responds promptly to my requests at least.

I am not into anyone yet. Still putting my stuff together to start Amazon dropshipping. From observation, I think Amazon dropshipping is more profitable than shopify. I might be wrong though.
