That job is for Sambo, did he go there?

Jonathan went there when he was a VP. Amnesty was initiated by the Yaradua administration. Stop saying trash.

Fake, lying & fraudulent Pastor. Continue your bloody reign in Aso rock, the blood of those killed in this your bloody administration will call for vengeance at the fullness of time.

The killers and their sponsors are going to pay for the blood of the innocent people who lost their life, the wicked are doom eternally. But mind you the president and his vice are not the sponsors of this mayhem, but the political criminals who are looking for evil ways to come back to power in a dubious way. The killing of innocents is one of their evil trick to blackmail the government as incompetent and failure.

You are absolutely right. Same politicians use similar tactics to unseat and discredit the previous administration, upon wish Buhary and Osinbajo rode to power. Both promised secured nation devour of terrorism and bloodletting. Alas, we rather have it on increased scale.

I place the blood on the hands of this administration squarely for failing to act decisively. What stopped Mohomodu Buhary to address the Fulani terrorist in the language they understand? Hausa/Fulani.?

Bloody government.

I will always put humanity before religion.

As much as Christians are being killed, Muslims are being killed too. Why is no one condemning killings in general? undecided

Yemi Osibanjo swore to protect the life of Nigerians, not Christians only. MURIC and CAN should collectively hold these people responsible.

When person no talk because e no concern am, na so nobody go talk when e concern am.

I totally agree with you that instead of playing religion game when Nigerian are being killed why not condemning the killing generally. Both Muslims and Christians were the innocent victims and the killers are from both religions, we should join hand to fight our common enemy who are play political chess with the life of Nigeria.

Goodluck Jonathan, he walked into the creeks without security and had a meeting with all the militants and secured a ceasefire under Yaradua.

Osinbajo is a weakling.

GEJ is from the creeks and all the boys are his boys. He who play the piper dictate the tone

Well said Pst Yemi Osinbajo, nothing should contend with our higher calling, however your situation is dicey, you are surrounded with the worse kind of people that perpetuate everything your faith is against. By so doing no one will ever believe your innocence and you may never leave that position with your integrity and reputation intact.

It is so easy for Christian leaders to seat at their office and put all the blame on Prof Osinbanjo as if he knows anything about the security architecture of this country.All I know is that Nigeria is the envy of most countries surrounding it,the only way to break us up is to divide us along religious and ethnic line.I don't even think the so call Fulani herdsmen are responsible for this atrocities, because they have their investment to protect,but I suspect some well trained mercenary's are been employed .I believe the country need to employ and train more men into the military or have more spread across the region. I don't know how you intend to secure a location with huge land mass without deploying more personnel and resources.

He has been to, all d hotspots, in ds country. In d heat of BH to d swamps of NDA! Can u name, one President or VP, that has done d same, previously? Can u name, one member of ds govt, that has done d same, without being forced?

He's not perfect, but, he has taken steps, to make up for it.

That statement, he made, is a dare, to PMB n d cabals! If u can't see that, due to sentiments, Htf is it my problemangry

He's been to all the hotspots in this country, oh ok that's swee! so what were the outcomes? Did it affect the price of anything? What effect did his visits have on those hashtag hotspots? My country being deceived by political photo ops! I remember when when he visited MM international airport, everyone was shouting wow! wow! Plenty accolades were poured on him, he is working. Many months after his visit, that airport is still a shithole!

There was no amnesty then. GEJ, had amnesty to offer to d creek lords, to calm their offensives.

Though, it doesn't take away from his success.

Stop telling lies.
It was Yar’Adua who offered amnesty to increase oil revenues since the north contributes NOTHING to the federation account but takes the most in monthly allocation.

BlackRevo:
Pursuant to Section 175 of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Whereas the Government of the Federal Republic of Nigeria acknowledges that the challenges of the Niger Delta arose mainly from the inadequacies of previous attempts at meeting the yearnings and aspiration of the people, and have set in motion machinery for the sustainable development of the Niger Delta States;

Whereas certain elements of the Niger Delta populace have resorted to unlawful means of agitation for the development of the region including militancy thereby threatening peace, security, order and good governance and jeopardising the economy of the nation;

Whereas the Government realises that many of the militants are able-bodied youths whose energies could be harnessed for the development of the Niger Delta and the nation at large;

Whereas the Government desires that all persons who have directly or indirectly participated in militancy in the Niger Delta should return to respect constituted authority; and

Whereas many persons who had so engaged in militancy now desire to apply for and obtain amnesty and pardon.

NOW THEREFORE, I, Umaru Musa Yar’Adua, President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, after due consultation with the council of States and in exercise of the powers conferred upon me by the provisions of Section 175 of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, make the following proclamation:

I hereby grant amnesty and unconditional pardon to all persons who have directly or indirectly participated in the commission of offences associated with militant activities in the Niger Delta;
