South Africa was mostly their major African Market before they penetrated the Nigerian Market space. Btw, I love South Africans, I lived in Cape Town for a short time a few years ago. My bro's are Married to south African women with many nieces and nephews I am yet to meet since I am in a different continent.

While you are defending South Africa and the value she holds, do so with humility and consideration that one bad peanut in a bunch can create overall impression of the others.

These people bashing your country are folks who are really hurt from the ugly past in your country by some miscreant who happens to live among sane, educated folks like you. Understand that most people have lost close friends, commrades and fellow patriot. They have the right to be upset and express themselves from their point of view. Don't shoot them down, if necessary apologize and re-emphasize the values majority of South Africans hold dearly.

You haven't shown true brotherhood with your words, rather you are trying to promote the superiority of South Africans to Nigerians. Least I remind you, the way Nigerians travel to South Africa to work and earn a living is the same way many South Africans travel out to Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, UK, U.S.A, Lagos and Abuja to work and make a better life for themselves. Don't act like South Africa is an Eldorado of some sort that careless about the perception of other fellow Africans in the continent, rather promote peace, love and sportsmanship.

We generally care less about Africa's perception because the system of apartheid didn't emphasise to us that we are actually part of africa. But I am not xenophobic infact I find the rest of africa very unique and there are many business opportunities to explore around africa so why would I be xenophobic.
