we always say 'there is no place like home'. Some people would even say 'a home is a place where your heart is' So, to you, is it a place or a feeling? If its a place or feeling, can you kindly share with us what makes it your home? |

Nice question.... Well, home to me can be both a "place" and a "feeling". I prefer for it to actually be a "place" because there are some environments (that no matter what one may try to make himself/herself believe), can never be "home". What makes "home" a "home" to me is the people that surround me....the love that I know they have for me....the ability to be myself and not be judged....the calm and peaceful atmosphere. Now I've been in so many places and said to myself, "This reminds me of home".... It then becomes a "feeling" because I'm not physically in my "heaven-like" home environment. So basically the "home-life" becomes the standard for anywhere else. Some people's homes have been torture so they don't associate anything "peaceful" with that. Hope I answered it! |
