I hope you know that Hope Uzodinma is still going for another term in Orlu zone and the man is a political heavyweight with massive grassroot following. If as a sitting senator, he can decid to join APC from PDP when Rochas is still governor under APC then that should give you an idea on his level of confidence in winning Orlu zone. Rochas is now calling on Imo youths because everyone has abandoned him. The only youths he can rely on now are the Ohaji youths he is using to terrorize people at Douglas road because the youths of Owerri, Mbaise and the rest across Imo state will all work against him the same way they worked against Ohakim. What the youths did to Ohakim during the gubernatorial election and rerun will be a child's play to what they will do to Rochas this time around.

It's safe to say that Rochas is politically finished locally within Imo state. His only hope now will be for APC win in 2019 so they can either make him a minister or ambassador. It is really a sad situation that someone who was once loved by all in Imo state even to the extent that youths were ready to take the bullet for him in 2011 even without being motivated by money because he didn't spend up to half of what Ohakim spent.
