They look very much like lion cubs to me...they can actually appear 'spotted' at that age... and, BTW, one doesn't need to walk into a lion's den to acquire lion cubs.

It's definitely in cubs my neighbour in Isaac John has two of these,played with them a lot when they were few months old,painfully can't anymore but we still friends still do a pat on the head and get a lick too.one day wld get me one �
