my 3weeks old baby has these terrible rashes under her neck, head and it seems to be spreading to her head. We have tried white capsules, red soap, black soap and all other suggestions from older folks, but it seems not to help. Mothers in the house, how do you handle such issues. its kinda worrying and I know it sometimes itches the little child. I would be glad to get help from experienced mothers in the house.

I feel sad for the poor baby. A three weeks old baby and you are test driving with her skin, putting antibiotics and all sorts of chemical on her body angry So if you are told here to go apply kerosene or battery water on it, you'd heed to it? O ma she o.

Your baby probably have baby acne, it will go by itself, you don't need to apply nothing on it . Stop all medication including baby oil and powder. Just bath with Normal baby soap and apply a little Shea butter. It will clear by itself. It's hot in Nigeria now, tell your wife to do away with all the multiple layers of clothing including blankets and caps especially during the day. Just wear baby an onesis/jumpsuit and allow her breathe. She needs fresh air too.

Buy #100 shea butter and mix with 1 tube of skineal. Make sure U text d code on the skineal to confirm it's original. Use the mixture as ur baby's cream for now. Once it's is clear, stop using it. I am a nursing mother, trust me it works

My second son had a similar breakout, he had rashes all over his body from the 4th day after his birth. We tried everything, took him to the hospital and we were told to change his soap but every other soap we used after the Boots (UK) was even making the issue worse until we used the Mothercare we were given as a gift and that was it. He'd be 2 in a matter of days now and the spots for this rashes are still on his body, we still use Mothercare 'All We Know Baby Body Wash' or 'Little Softie Top to Toe Wash' because even when we tried using something else when he was a year and 6 months, he started having minor breakouts. Like someone suggested, take your child to the hospital for them to check what the problem is, it might be something as simple as what you use on the baby or the baby's diet, or something else. I pray God helps you find a lasting solution.

You have a very valid point too. We stopped using any body lotion and oil on the boys since after my second son had rashes from the soap we used. We now use only Shea butter mixed with virgin coconut oil on them, the liquid powder that came with the gift pack and the other talc we bought 2years ago are still in the house.
