I believe it was clearly stated. The man said the death penalty wasn't the punishment for such crime at the time but GMB insisted that they be publicly executed anyway which means the punishment was by Buhari. He made that law

A drug crime was committed,it doesn't carry the death penalty....
Somebody came up that they be killed as deterrent,is that the law or contrary?
And this same man harbours corrupt politicians today,hobnob and celebrate them......fantastic

Since you didn't tell us what your brother did that warranted the death penalty, I am assuming it was drug trafficking because that is what your people do best. But take solace in the fact that even if bubu hadn't killed him in nigeria, he would have been killed in malaysia, indonesia, thailand or the philippines.

Crime is crime irrespective of size and type and your constitution or laws are not silent on the type of punishment{s} to be given to the offender{s} but when a president goes outside the law to punish an offender as in this case, it becomes an Executive recklessness and murder.

I salute Buhari/Idiagbon regime for their brutality against crime. I also understand the personal grudge that would come from the selfish bias of the victims family, especially when the law was applied to their case in retrospect.

Had it been that they were not caught and executed, even Nkem Owoh himself will be no where near movie industry, he would have shared the same fate with his said brother.

Nkem don't need to make it public, their crime is known in the public domain. What we should be asking for is what does the Nigerian law at the time say for the said crime they committed?

And no people shouldn't be the one to decide the punishment to a crime when there's already a law in place for it.

Am not in support of any crime or illegal means of acquiring wealth but if what NKEM OWOH said is true, then it just confirmed what 'we' already know about BUHARI... His penchant for disobeying the laws of the Land and also disobeying court orders....Dasuki, El-zakzaky were all granted bail by the court but they are still been held by BUHARI...
