2. Yoruba towns and villages were sacked and burnt by Benin armies.
3. Yorubas were taken hostages by Benin and resettled in different places (like Babylon did Israelites)
4. Yoruba Obas were paying tributes to the Oba of Benin.
5. Yoruba princes in lands under Benin control were required to serve as slaves in our palace before they could go back home to be king
6. About 40% of Eastern Yoruba are Edo people making eastern Yoruba Edo lands.
7. When Benin armies are coming whole towns and villages are evacuated and the people flee into bushes and mountains to hide.
