The crop of stubborn children we have these days is appalling, parents find it very hard to control their kids. Does flogging help in correcting a stubborn child?

I think it does but don't make it a habit otherwise they will get used to it and that will make things worse

Flogging is child abuse. I have never ever flogged my children and they are well behaved children.

Punishment in our house is taking things away. It always does the trick

They flog me taya,and I am still stubborn
it depends on the child when I was a teen I might not do the same thing but I will surely do something worst later

Spare the rod, spoil the child..flogging may appear anti human at times but there are situations that warrants it in other to return the child to default moral settings. I will not advocate for flogging always but sometimes and u do it strategically.. I flog at night..around 12 am to 3 am wen sleep is in deep zone. I will wake them up and wash their face with water before flogging. Your environment is different from mine..Lekki child is different from oshodi child!

U can also practice fasting and prayers for stubborn kids..immediately they are btw 7-15 years.. Let them fast and pray as a punishment for stubborn acts...Truste me this also works as they will consider the punishment before engaging in stubborn acts

Flogging helps sometimes, but no matter what a child do or does, don't deny him food.
Every child is different,my daughter's brain can reset by mere ceasing her literature text or snacks (desserts).
But the above doesn't work for my son's;if you don't buckle your belt with them and show them you are in charge eh, they will use you and do yeye(at times here I use cane for them)
My last boy is different From the other boys, once you keep cane at a place where he sees it,he behaves,so once the thing start, you point to the cane and he maintains immediately.... every child is different, just find out what works for them individually.
