May 30 Sit-At-Home: We Will Deal Decisively With Biafra Groups - Police by meethumb(op): 8:27am On May 28, 2018
The Nigerian Police Force, NPF, Anambra State Command has vowed to deal decisively with any individual or groups, under any guise, who disrupts public peace.”

The warning comes following the May 30 sit-at-home order by the members of Indigenous People Of Biafra, IPOB.

However, the police has insisted that IPOB, as a proscribed organisation, lacked the legitimacy to declare a protest order, but IPOB said police can’t stop it from carrying out its religious obligation to Biafra’s fallen heroes.

Commissioner of Police, Anambra State, Mr. Garba Umar, who described the group as misguided elements and urged the people in the state to disregard the order and go about their lawful normal businesses, assured that the State Police Command is on top of the situation.

“The command, with other security agencies, will not hesitate to deal decisively with any individual or groups, under any guise, who disrupts public peace.”

Reacting over the statement, IPOB, through a press release by its Media and Publicity Secretary, Emma Powerful, said there is no going back on the May 30 sit-at-home order, describing it is as “oblation” that would take place in no fewer than 100 countries of the world.

The menace of these wawa and abakaliki hoodlums hiding as Ipod must be curtailed by all means possible. They use the sit at home as a cover to rob anambra-owned shops. The police should deploy officers with live bullets with order of shoot to kill at the sight of any wawa or abakaliki hoodlum trying to disturb the peace of our dear state.

That shows the cluelessness of the Police. When you come out to celebrate Biafran day, trouble.

When you decide to stay at home to celebrate Biafran day, still trouble.

What is going on here?

Re: May 30 Sit-At-Home: We Will Deal Decisively With Biafra Groups - Police by Cyynthia(f):
Idiotic police.
Previously, Biafran remembrance day comes with prayer and other activities in some designated places Ipobs mapped out to celebrate the event.

But recently, they have decided to do the remembrance by staying at home since police and army are good at shooting them in the process (Though the army always meet their karma via boko haram)
Now, tell me how the sit at home order affect these idiotic police men ?
Would they be moving from house to house to drag people out of their homes ?
What is in wrong in remembering someone's lovely ones ?
Why is Nigeria struggling to cover the truth by trying to suppress anything Biafra/ Ipob(even though its impossible) ?.
Are they feeling guilty ?
If really the Aburi accord and 3 R's were implemented, do you think this agitations would have sprung up ?

Buhari is evil
Buhari is a terrorist !

What am I hearing? That Nigeria Police ban BIAFRANS from sitting at home on May 30. Who said that this strategy of civil disobedience is not more power than engaging them with guns and bullet? We must sit at home and subsequent orders from IPOB highest command will be adhere to until the right things are done in this country. Very soon the world will know that there are two governments operating in Nigeria one lead by NNAMDI KANU and the other led by Muhammad buhari. This BIAFRANS generation can never be stopped by guns and bullets until the right things done. If you are expecting them to carry guns and bullets to confront Nigeria military men, you shall wait till eternity. We have grown up to understood that Civil disobedience is the greatest weapon that is capable of turning any government upside down, and that we have chosen until the right things are done in this country.

Secondly, ipob is a proscribe organisation which is seen as a terrorist organization therfore all its activities including protest is illegal. SIR,pls use ur brain to think. under what facts and figures do they proscribed IPOB? I will only take your rant serious when this your useless government proscribe those murderous hausa fulani Herdsmen but until then civil disobedience has come to stay in biafra land you can argue with your ancestors. Last year was anyone force to stay at home? But they all obey the command. This year will not be different.
