A football financier arrested in Lagos for shaving teenagers’ pubic hair for suspected ritual, as the boys fell sick.

The Lagos State police has arrested the financier of Magico Football Academy, Agege, Victor Achidume, for allegedly shaving the pubic hair of 5 teenage boys.

According to reports, Achidume, 43, was apprehended after one of the children identified as Oluwaseun fell sick and told his parents the suspect had shaved his pubic hair six times.

The boy said the last time Achidume shaved his armpit and private part was on May 9, adding that he usually warned him not to tell his parents any time he carried out the act.

Oluwaseun said:

“We do not belong to his team. We met him during a football match and he invited us to his house. He used to talk about football to us and he used to dash us N100 or N200.

I went with my friends the first time. He asked me if I had shaved my armpit and private part before and I said no. And then, he shaved it. Then, he said I should not tell anyone and that I should be coming to his place to collect N100.”



Another child, Oluwadare Ifeoluwa, 15, who said the suspect asked him if he had shaved his pubic hair before, revealed that he left him after answering in the affirmative.

Ifeoluwa said: “The man used to give us money every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. When we come, he will tell some people to come Tuesday and Thursday. The man shaved Oluwaseun Salaudeen’s hair six times and he shaved Damilare’s armpit twice.

He told us that no one should know he usually asked such questions. We are not in his academy.” But the suspect denied the allegation, insisting that the kids have never been to his house.

Achidume said he was shocked at their allegation, adding that he only helped the children by giving them morning regularly. He said: “I told the mothers of these children that I have three kids and that if I did anything wrong to their children, let me lose mine before my eyes.

But, if I did not, their children will die before their eyes. The women should tell their children to confess how all these came about. I manage over 80 kids through my coach and no one has ever complained of such about me.”

The level of crime and Fetishism in our society have reached an alarming rate. From rape cases to kidnap, confraternity tussles, terrorism and cult massacre. Sadly, the average Nigerian flips through news topics of this stratosphere like they are normal. What we fail to realize is that the reader of a sad news yesterday is a victim that will be reported on the news tomorrow. What you fail to stop will stop you.

People should be ahead of the game. Can someone at least create a blog for naija crime watch where we can anonymously post pictures and give information of any suspicious character? at least to create awareness. abeg my brothers make una share publicly any unscrupulous or suspicious character so that we can at least raise awareness oh. This is getting too much oh. People are getting very mean by the day. We cannot take chances. Parents need to be ahead of the game oh. Most revealing stories do not make the front page.

We have an IG of police who centers his duty on running errands for a deaf president and being used as a political carriage by our democratic monarchs. An IG who goes to commission transmissions when there are more pressing issues demanding his attention. After all these brutal killings and evil acts, no one comes out to address the public. It is as if they do not owe us an explanation for being the guardians of law and order in the society. Aren't they supposed to come out and explain why all these crimes are allowed to go on?

Mothers, I appeal to you to watch your children. That child is too precious to be boiling in the pot of ritualists. The country is a jungle, one fall, the others keep moving like it means nothing.

Hmm what is this life turning to, lesson learnt be watchful and vigilant when someone is too nice to you most are for their selfish reason.

Its statutory because they are below age of consent.
