I think you are the confused, ethnocentric, tribal bigot here. When all these cleansing, killings, carnages and destructions were been carried out under Jonathan, you blamed it on Buhari and some northern elders, now the killings which started under the administration of Jonathan is been blamed on religion under Buhari. Questions 1 was there ever a terrorist group in Nigeria before Jonathan's administration? 2 Was there no religious killings under Jonathan? 3 Was there no herdsmen killings under Jonathan> Do not be a religious bigot. MadeInTokyo:sorry I don't understand what you mean by highlighted or saying the president was lying about his speech. Are you saying there is no school feeding across the states he mentioned? If you don't know better better seek for knowledge before criticising what you don't have knowledge about it. All the states he mentioned were all enjoying school feeding from the federal government. To the mumu reno, the god ipob, most of what he mentioned were not in today's speech but just looking for opportunity to tanish the image of Mr president. Ippis he mentioned started during the time of obasanjo not the time jonathan and apc have never claim glory for that but claiming glory for better implementation since the policy was created. And, this is what gave them opportunity to remove ghost workers from the payroll. Meanwhile jonathan government also do their best on Ippis then but not as better as this government has done it. |

udees:Welldone. While I accept some of your points, let me counter some i believe are largely incorrect 1. The Abuja and Lagos airport terminals wasn't completed during Jonathan's era. In fact, they are still not ready as of now 2. GEJ competed 7 power plants in 6 years, Buhari through Fashola will commision 9 plants this year. While the plants are yet to commissioned, it is against your claim that they haven't added anything to the owner grid. https://www.dailytrust.com.ng/fg-to-commission-8-new-power-plants-fashola.html 3. The improvement in power can be attributed to increase in gas supplies to the Gencos due to the Federal Government’s N701 billion Payment Assurance Guarantee (PAG) that enabled GenCos to promptly pay for gas and other services. 4. Yes, Jonathan initiated the revamping of the railway sector but GE only supplied 25 locomotives instead of the agreed 100. And almsot all of the 25 locomotives are dead now because the govt then didn't sign any maintainance agreement for the 25 locomotives. The federal government also due to lack of capacity and inability to provide the needed counterpart funding had to walk away from a joint venture with GE to build locomotives in Nigeria. 5. It was Buhari that concessioned the rail system to GE in 2017 and this is why most of the railway lines you mentioned are currently being worked on. 6. GEJ also started and almost completed the Abuja-kaduna railway project which was conceived by Obj. So Buhari isn't wrong to have continued where GEJ failed. 7. I am sure you were only blabbing in the last paragraph by the way because it's either you were trying to play to the gallery or you have a short memory. |

yunusasa:Your point is that RAILWAY PROJECT is not important. It shows that you are not expose at all. Do you know the ease of transportation of goods and services it will bring? Do you know it impact on the economy of both region will the project cover and Nigeria at large. You need to seek urgent spiritual intervention for wisdom and knowledge because to me your are living in Pluto, not on earth. |

I congratulate Nigerians for witnessing another epic moment in the history of our nation. Our democracy milestone have witness both progressive narrative from the optimists and retrogressive from the pessimists. The narrative of President muhammadu Buhari is drafted and drawn from the point of maturity, responsibility and responsiveness. Anybody can buy is speech, anybody can as well ignore every content of the speech. What matter most is our patriotism to the country presumably should loved by all and sundry. If you love Nigeria, you love yourself. If you hate Nigeria, you hate yourself. Anybody who ignore the content of the good morning message delivered by the president today, ignore is place in Nigeria. |
