As Nigeria twiddle their thumbs - Kenya is also working very hard to deal with water problem - being generally water-deficit country - and by 2022 Kenya will have universal water access. By 2022 - We will have universal electricity coverage, universal health, universal water supply, in addition to universal free education, I am not sure what else we will need but certainly we will have dealt with basics.

Nairobi's North Collector Water Project - huge tunnels being constructed to bring water to Nairobi. This in addiction to Africa longest tunnels we are building for our SGR railway.

Somalia is their motherland they can always identify with ancestral homeland. Its true there are many Somali immigrants in Eastleigh, especially illegal ones. Almost any Somali from Somalia or any part of the world wants to settle in Eastleigh once they land in Kenya. Just for the convenience. You find property worth 10 or 20 million the guy purchases it at something like 100 million and over. Just to kick out any competition. Not your usual demand-supply economics. Nothing is affluent about Eastleigh, the thing is that there are thousands and thousands of businesses going on which get taxed and give a lot of money to the city. And they all revolve around a few common things, apparel especially.

Firstly no Kenyans are fighting to move to Eastleigh! I swear you're a comedian. Anyway Somalis and Dangotelanders share some common traits.

Admittedly Nigeria is a sleeping giant just like China was. Nigeria will have to fix its self up and prove its giant status. For now no country in Africa dominates Africa just like Japan did or China is doing now. Countries like Nigeria, South Africa, Egypt, and perhaps Kenya will have to develop further to see a leading power coming out of Africa.
