He is more of a speaker who reads and watches a lot of YouTube videos and talks plenty. He should be minister of youth development under Mr Adamu Garba II as President.

Talking about political experience, it has failed us in the past and it's not a compulsory criteria in the NEW NIGERIA we seek. How many years of political experience did Awolowo, Azikiwe and co have before they made impacts that many of the current ancient, recycled leaders enjoyed(e.g free education, multifaceted economy).
As we speak, A man without any political experience has just been elected as the prime minister of Italy, the 3rd largest economy in Europe! I can name several others.

Not naivety, just being realistic. Nigeria is a jungle, being a fine boy will not cut it especially if you come forward with an agenda to threaten the system of corruption. Imagine, if people like Soludo could not win governorship elections despite sterling qualities, how much less Durotoye.
Political power is achieved by degrees. Outrage is not enough.

A post of a Nigerian Govenor is the laziest position I can ever imagine of all political post....
U can rule ur state thruout ur tenure without stepping ur foot on the capital....
An 18 yr old boy can rule a state in nigeria, even in absentia while he's busy preparing for his WAEC n jamb....
Most nigerian governors are visionless n clueless......
All they know is building roads n refusing to pay civil servants their monthly due....
Now, someone wants to introduce a radical n disruptive approach to governance n u are telling me he's not up to....
Seriously I feel this present generation of nigerian youths are too lazy n docile to imprint an indelible mark or create a new chapter in nigerian history....
In history, youths lead revolution, but the youths in nigeria are looking up to the likes of tinubu n atiku to usher in a new nigeria....
Old men that don't even see the importance of a new nigeria.....
A young generation whose voice are the most vocal against any form of change..

Kanu came they said he insulted other tribes....
Sowore offered himself they said he's too radical...
Durotoye is too soft n lacked experience....
Ok offer them shehu sanni who is neither too young nor too old, they will tell he's not rugged enough....
Tell them to support restructuring they will tell u the status quo is better....
Encourage them to be self sufficient n promote regional diversification, they will tell u niger delta oil belongs to everybody.....
They seem content with the crumbs they fight to pick from the floor dropped by old n useless politicians....
I just don't get it......
Is it a curse or something....
Why can't we stand up for once n disrupt the political landscape in this country, if not for Anything but just to prove that- Yes we can.....
Durotoye cannot be worse than buhari....
Buhari tenure witnessed the genoicidal massacre of thousands of villagers by fulani herdsmen with alarming apathy by his govt.....
So tell me what can be worse than that..

You have just proven my point.

As I said, outrage is not enough, you must bring political organization to the table. To address your other issue, the point is not whether or not governorship is easy ( it shouldn't be), the point is how to get there. Understand me, I am all for a young person as governor or president, but when I see the one who can I will support him.
As a student of politics and a participant in many political activities, I can tell you that I can identify a general when he appears. Durotoye in particular is not one.

What I will have you do is to get involved. Join a campaign team whether Fela Durotoye or the rest. But since fela Durotoye is the only on talking about a new Nigeria then it is adviseable to join him

It's about we the youth n the nigeria we want for ourselves n future generation....
Except u benefit from the status quo, I don't see any reason a sane youth will want to support the analogue oriented politician....
What nigeria needs now is a young outsider to disrupt the political system of this country with innovative governance and initiate sound economic policies in sync with the 21st century.. ...
Not youths like yahaya bello or dino melaye who are product of the corrupt system n see nothing wrong with it....
As loud as dino is, I've never seen him speak for restructuring or advocate for review of our wasteful legislative arm....
Of course he benefits from it, why should he....
Youths lead revolution, they change the dynamics of a country.....
Waiting for a perfect man is futile, u will wait forever....
What nigeria need is a change in governance n policy, not a change in man....
We are going to make do with the ones coming out n declaring their intentions....
Not some utopia saviour that exist nowhere......
My generation grew up in that country thinking travelling abroad is the ultimate....
It will be a shame if our children grow up thinking same...
