While Nigerians are demanding for improvement in living conditions of citizens, a governor has decided to reach out to his people in style. Governor of Kebbi state, Alhaji Abubakar Atiku Bagudu, yesterday paid a visit to Argungu local government area where he empowered the residents with clay pots, jars, mortars and other local household items.

The governor who was in high spirit presented the items to the excited villagers who thanked him for the 'generous gesture'.

The use of the word “empower” in Nigeria makes me feel it has a new meaning.
If someone dash me 1k now,small time wetin I go hear be say “someone empower me with 1k”
