Dasuki is in jail for using the accounts of the Office of the National security adviser to distribute (some will say launder money) for political purposes. The money distributed by Dasuki was not security votes of the president.

All sorts of monies were laundered through the office of the NSA, ex cess crude account and even abacha loot was channelled (extra budgetarily) through Dasuki in the guise of buying arms to fight Boko Haram .

You know the ironic thing?

This using security votes for elections (clearly wrong) is the same thing Dasuki is accused of!

No mind these people, they are ready to defend corruption and corrupt people with their very lives.
Imagine the dubious lie that the $2.1 billion Dasuki shared was Jonathan's security votes. This is an argument even Dasuki's lawyers has not presented.

If $2.1 billion was part of jonathans security votes given to Dasuki to share, then how much was the total security votes? Maybe half of the budget.
