But Joel Obi is pants. He should have been dropped.

Ola Aina sealed his fate against Congo. Terrible naive defending even the likes of Echejiele will not make.

He needs to grow as a defender. He is still young and has time.

thank you for your analysis. That onazi is there doesn't mean he has to start. I don't know why people keeps shouting Joel obi up and down. He is a not a bad player, he'll probably be starting on the bench. Idowu is our LB, no doubt about that. . Joel obi was selected ahead of agu due to his attacking skills. We already have Ndidi, ogu and even Mikel or etebo that can play as a defensive midfielder. We don't need any agu again. The squad is fair enough. My only regret is Moses Simon injury.

And you think Ola Aina would have made the England team for this World Cup? His time in the Eagles will come soon. I don't see Echiejele continuing for Nigeria after this World Cup, and the coach obviously prefers Brian Idowu over him.

I'm very surprised what Joel obi is doing in that squared I expect rohr to drop him. His performance for some past games was woeful. My observation on victor moses performance is that moses should stop playing individual football and play as a team with his fellow players. Lastly super eagle pattern of play should be more define, enough of this kick and follow football

Personally, I don't think Joel Obi is a bad player, but he ihass not as spectacular as some people make him out to be. Plus he been out of the Eagles set-up for too long. He will be a squad player at most. Ndidi, Mikel and either of Etebo/Ogu/Onazi will probably start in midfield.

And for those crucifying Onazi too, the guy has his days. He is a grafter and can do the dirty work of breaking up play when necessary. He had a bad day at the office. Doesn't make him a useless player. And Mikel Agu is not better than him.
