Reminds me of December 2016 when pounds was 600 naira and a glass of beer was 4 pounds. My visit was to last 2 weeks but I came back after 1 week.
The 3 cardinal points of groove is always, drinks, smoke and oloshos, if you are trying to eradicate the 1st two then you are leaving the citizens with the more dangerous choice.

I dunno what the fuss is about, this is a welcome development. Alcohol and cigarettes especially is expensive in most countries. Did you see the comparative tax with other countries on this goods. We charge way low.
We should be objective for once, this is not about Buhari, this is about strengthening the economy and curbing abuse. Go to Germany, a pack of cigarette is sold 10euros. That is almost 5k in naira. We should be worried about our country not about the president.

And this tax is for foreign brand not local beverage industries. Peace!
