Tell me which politician that doesn't have thugs who he sponsors. Those thugs work fir many politicians. .Anyways let them charge the matter to court but I see no case submission here. If I send my brother to school and he decides to join robbery gang , I guess he has to face the music not me that sent him.

here is my humble submission,

it may be true they might have a political history which is not direct with the SP or the governor during past elections which is what he is leaning on to get saved. Especially when they wanted to keep PDP at bay but I didn't recall kwara had so much violence like that during elections.

neway, after seeing they were no longer relevant and needed money, they decided to rob using the their past history with SP as their defence knowing fully well when push gets to shove, by the time he involves the SP and the governor, in other not to drag their names in the mud, they will do something to exenorate them. Now the twist here is this, I won't be surprise if the IG is capitalizing on the fact that they mentioned the SP even in the slimmest of way because of his grievances with him. He knows that the Senate President has nothing to do with the case but enjoys the idea that his reputation and integrity is at stake and these guys understand the rift and giving the IG a good time. The weapon aspect also has nothing to do with the SP or governor. those guys are outrightly lying. They just trying to rope in the SP and the governor to give it more pressure.

The issue on ground is about robbery, not political thuggery. Am yet to see any Nigerian who doesn't know that every politician has thugs working for them. even Sowore has thugs that even himself is not aware of are working for him, not because he asked for them but because those thugs just like the idea to be associated with him and boasting around the neighbourhood how they were instrumental to his present level. It's a Nigerian factor. Buhari has thugs whether he admits it or not, plus the ones he knows and doesn't know. It's a Nigerian political norm. Tinubu is their grandmaster as them full Lagos die.

This is a wake up call to all those politicians who seek for political aid in winning elections. Do thing legitimately and posterity will judge you right. empower people to vote, not spoilers who cause mayhem during elections cause when you use and dump them, they tend to be more nuisance than you originally met them.

In conclusion, the Senate President name might be badly dented which will affect his future political ambitions but i dont find him guilty. Next time, Saraki will learn to deal wisely. They robbed and killed with the hope that at the mention of high profiled names as allies, a solution will surface but the only solution is sentence to death.

I laugh. 2019 go serious gan. When tje mastermind of the Offa robbery was arrested then ( an ex policeman) he never was quoted as mentioning Saraki but vengence on police for how he was treated.

Weeks after they now are mentioning Saraki.

I laugh in spiritual voices , Very weak evidence. Even if he got a car as compensation for "Political mobilization" as be mentioned, which could be denied based on his specifics which is election disturbance and could be said to be campaining instead, i fail to see the link between both events.

If he really had any link to the governor and senator on d scale he described, I doubt he would choose to go and rob by endangering his life when he could get fixed somewhere in d government.

He said it was the policeman who supplied the weapons for the operation and not the governor or saraki who have no knowledge of wat he was up to.

Finally, his claim of receiving a car gift from the COS of d governor for election activities even if true is a weak attempt to saving his head, i'm guessing he was not d only one gifted a car for work done during elections, thats if the COS will agree to knowing him in d first place
