EdoNation:Very well said! Thats why we are proud to say your Oba comes from a long lineage of superior race in Ife. Edo has never had a king. Even your Ogisos were supervisors sent from Ife to oversee your land. When they messed up your chiefs returned to Ife to beg for a new class of rulers. Ewuare II is the descendant of proud race. You had Chiefdoms in the period of Ogiso and Kingdoms in the period of Omo N'Oba. ![]() We gave you civilization and pride. Without Yoruba you are nothing! We are going to separate your land and put you under Olu of Warri next. If he doesnt want to deal with your rebellion we qill bring Pere of Gelegele to rule over your land. Im sure the Ijaws would love to be your next dynasty of rulers. ![]() |

Y0ruba:Chai this biggest Yoruba mumu has done it again.. I advised and warned you not to shoot yourself in the foot u no hear. U post another document that only at best talk of Yoruba weak resistance against their Edo colonial masters lol. Don’t you read and understand the message behind a document before you use it? Are u that daft? Well for lecture sake I will interpret the document for U since u no get brain. 1. In the 19th century Benin was still in control of vast part of Yoruba lands and people.. 2. Local Yorubas citizens rioted against their colonial masters killing many Edos. 3. Benin sent a punitive expedition into Yoruba lands to punish them for the riots and killing of Edos.. 4. The punitive expedition was successful. Yoruba leaders were executed, their princes taken prisoners to Benin. 5. Despite the fact that Benin was in a decline during this century it was still able to hold onto its Yoruba colonies till the British freed them. I only have one issue with this document where it says Benin had no army.. if truly we had no army how were we able to be beating and brushing the Yorubas? How were we able to war the British? A war that was the toughest for the British in all of west Africa.. Advice for the mugu called YOruba, always read a document and understand it before you use it. Posting a document that talked about Benin decline is nothing. All great empires declined at a time in their history and Benin is not different. Even the British empire declined eventually. However, when Benin was in decline Oyo was long dead and decayed, its bones turned to dust.. Ibadan was decimated by a combined force of Benin warriors and their Ekiti kparakpo subjects. Long live Benin Kingdom.. Long live the Edo people.. Long live the Oba of Benin!! |

Obalufon:Really?? Did u say this out of shame? Your Yoruba absolute ruler practically prostrated for Saraki and you say it’s ok because Saraki is debate president? So if your son becomes president I should assume you will be prostrating for him abi? Wow you are so shameless.. upon all the closeness and time Edo ruled you, you people didn’t learn the importance of pride and honour from us? That’s how another of your mumu brother was comparing a great Oba of Benin that kept his honour and glory till his death, comparing him to your Yoruba Obas that kneeled down to collect egunje from the British.. very shameful. Now tell me, now that we are into many years after those incidents which past African rulers are now being hailed as heroes? We are a brave and warrior people, Yorubas is not!! |

Y0ruba:I said it before you have no sense.. each words that come out of ur mouth betrays you. So this document you posted was prepared by a Yoruba man.. lol. A Yoruba man that was trying hard to discredit what a European explorer Mr. Bradbury wrote about Benin night and power. You be real okpe of the highest order. |

Y0ruba:Somethings I have to point out about this your self damaging document prepared by a senior Yoruba man.. Akintoye claim Benin invasion/occupation of Yoruba lands started probably in the 15th century (it may be earlier than that but let’s stick with 15th).. so counting from 15th century to 19th century when the British finally freed you is about 500yrs!! Which means Edo people ruled Yoruba for at least 500 years!! OMG 500yrs!! You yorubas were our subjects for 500yrs!! Not even the British could rule anybody for that long. The Edo people achieved something no other race was able to do. We ruled Yoruba for 500yrs!! Another point is during that long period our soldiers and administrators stationed in Yoruba lands were definitely screwing and breeding your women. So therefore there’s chances that 70% of the entire Yoruba race have Edo blood in them. Even some of you here may be Edo descendants but you are lost!! |

Moneywomen17:No one knows exactly the life of Sango even in Nigeria there's conflicting stories. ![]() Knowing a spirit is about having a relationship with the spirit. And how can I not have a relationship with the Baba of twins and I'm a twin? There are 3 Sangos. The Alaafin of Oyo Sango Kuso And the Irunmole Sango, the God of fire, fire is what causing lightning and thunder. Ase Love Sango |

davidnazee:Stop wanking yourself over article that talks about Benin and Yoruba. Give us input about your own history and legend in Ekaladheran. Thats the purpose of this thread to solve the Ekaladheran mystery. You were doing good in the first 25pages but shake yourself loose and make Edo proud. Talk about Ekaladheran and Ife. Steveosaz says he is buried in Ife. Is this true? |
| Re: Oba Of Benin Visits Ooni Of Ife by davidnazee: 2:08am On Jun 05, 2018 |
BabaRamota1980:Yes he is very very correct. Wherever Oduduwa is buried there Ekhaladeran is.. unless you want to tell us you cannot find Oduduwa’s final burial place.. |
| Re: Oba Of Benin Visits Ooni Of Ife by davidnazee: 2:15am On Jun 05, 2018 |
BabaRamota1980:And I finally understand where you yorubas frustration and anger for Edos is coming from.. nobody will be happy with being ruled for over 500yrs.. just like I am angry at the white people for enslaving Africans for 400yrs. So it’s okay for u to be mad at your oppressor, I understand your pain.. u have the right to be angry at us for oppressing and ruling your ancestors for over 500yrs.. but I cannot apologize for what my ancestors did because in life there has to be a conqueror and the conquered so as to preserve balance in nature. And I thank God and my ancestors that we were the conquerors lol. |

BabaRamota1980:Your name should be BabaRUMOR, the conjurer of history. I have been saying it and I repeat it again, Yoruba is not an honourable tribe. Its just a conglomeration of cowards, loud talkers and a slavish people. Everyone in yorubaland is a quack historian and that has been evidently proved here. Now get this, Yoruba are undesirable elements. The south east hates you, the entire tribes in the south south think you are trivial and a treacherous people that should never be taken serious. In the north, the Hausa Fulani see you as tissue paper they use in wiping their asses. So please, never write Yoruba and pride and honor in the same sentence-thats grossly incongruous. The Itsekiri are a loyal tribe to the Edos any day, anytime. An Itsekiri man sees himself more at home with a Bini man that he possibly could with a yo-ROBBER crook. Even though of late, Yoruba have been making series of failed attempts to annex Itsekiri to themselves claiming that Itsekiri language is quite similar to Ijebu. However, the Itsekiri see themselves as an arm of the Edo people. The Urhobo are another distant relative of the Edo. So it's usually nonsensical when stupid Yoruba's say Edo is just one state. Meanwhile, Edo has existed for centuries if not millenniums, where as Yoruba is just a yesterday creation. As at the time the Edos were interacting with the Portuguese, there was no such thing as Yoruba. This dubiousness of Yoruba people in creating history is the reason why the Ijaw, Urhobo and Isoko people of Delta state hate the Yoruba's and would never forgive the Awolowo family for the treachery of Awolowo who in yo-ROBBER standard fashion of manufacturing history, decided just as he had done in several other Yoruba areas to tinker with the traditional arrangements in what is now known as delta state. When he was to recognise a former Olu of Warri, rather than appropriately recognize the man as Olu of Itsekiri, he went on to confer on him the controversial Olu of warri title - something that would later lead to loss of several lives being that the Itsekiri don't own Warri. Funny enough, clownish yo-ROBBERs are here talking about Ijaw and Urhobo. Una no get shame at all. As at the time of the Ogiso dynasty, there was nothing like Ooni. Ooni was only born at the expiration of the Ogiso dynasty and that's why till eternity, Oduduwa would continue to remain a stranger in Ile Ife. Whatever Yoruba claims Oduduwa knew, he brought the knowledge from Benin. |
| Re: Oba Of Benin Visits Ooni Of Ife by steveosaz(m): 3:36am On Jun 05, 2018 |
BabaRamota1980:BabaRamota, It's just simple linear logic OK. The Bini's don't care about where Ekaladerhan was buried because his legend had it that he never returned to Bini. So wherever he was finally buried is of no consequence. But, if you Yoruba's now want to make an issue out of it, then the onus is on you to tell us where Oduduwa was buried and that would certainly be Ekaladerhan's burial spot being that Oduduwa/Izoduwa/Ekaladerhan is the same person. So you can contact Obalufon to provide you that information since he claims to be of the lineage of the banished Ekaladerhan/Oduduwa. |

See Yoruba versus Yoruba doing a dirty fight... Meanwhile it appears one of them is fraudulently manufacturing history again. Read this... KingSango:Then this... Moneywomen17:These are people who have been making failed attempts at rewriting Edo history, yet they don't even know their. You don't even know the number of Sango's that there were... No wonder, you kept losing wars and had many of your lands fall under Edo control. Every single day, someone would just wake up and add a new dimension to Yoruba history- complicating an already chequered history. My advice to you people; set up a council, separate the chaff from the corn. Remove all these nonsensical inventions, streamline your perspectives. If you can do this, them we might just take you a little bit more serious. Tomorrow, someone like Kingsango would publish a book filled with comedy of errors and Yoruba charlatans of that era would be quoting it recklessly. |
