These guys operate with impunity because they're protected by the likes of Saraki. Even the Offa robbery would have passed off barely unreported but for their "mistake" of shedding so much blood (police say 33 but vigilantes' leader say over 60 killed). These guys are political thugs by day and robbers at other times -spreading fear and terror in the state. Police and Dss surely know them but their godfathers are the powers that be and so they're untouchable. I also believe that Saraki & co courting these bloodthirsty fiends are being divinely reprimanded for their atrocities. Loot the state treasury silly and silence the people by intimidation - that's the classical mafia style the Saraki family has adopted to maintain their political stranglehold on kwara. Hapless Kwara state has suffered so much in the hands of these heartless people. But God listens to the cry of the oppressed.
