If for example (just an example here so dont start farting), the roof starts leaking after a rain or the Generator breaks down in the middle of the night when there is no public power supply, is it the wife or the husband that takes responsibility for such, even if he has just returned from a grueling day's work? Does he start moaning like a cow about how his office work is preventing him from doing the repair?

When the roof leaks, first gauge your blod pressure, then try and climb the roof to fix it and when you are lucky to come down in one piece, then gauge your blood pressure again.

The diffrence in pressure is a measure of "how much work" you have done within a short time.

This is not totally true. In fact a lot of women cook in Europe and take care of the home. However, there is a lot more balance because European men support more than African men (I have no figures for this but from what I can see). Women cooking and taking care of the home is not a Nigerian thing, neither is it an African thing. It is a natural task that women gravitate towards, the same way men gravitate towards providing and protecting their family. So as I said, that is statement up there is not totally true. However, the fact that duties in a family are shared does not mean the husband and wife should not support one another as appropriate.
