For you to be supporting this madness, one would think your father stole money and kept for you to spend somewhere but I doubt so. Looking at your picture, I see at least 5 generations of poverty etched on your face.

With your head like that of a catfish and your neck like a funnel, I doubt if sense can enter your head again.

One would think you are one rich man or beneficiary of corruption but no, you're just a poverty-stricken young man who is hawking Thailand visa. WTF is Thailand visa? Can Akopabio's children go there? Can Udom's children go there?

At your age, you should learn to stand for something noble. How can you see those kids sleep out there in the cold on the icy floor and say it's to discredit sense?

Richard Akpabuyo, big head is not sense and your case just proved that.

Those who have power to correct things, should do it quickly else even their own loved ones will not escape hopelessness.

One of the major problems with Nigeria is that there is a HUGE gap between the rich and the poor. It becomes very frustrating for those who fall on the wrong side of the divide.

Public school or private school,
At the end of the day, they all come out of higher institutions becoming unemployable and jobless.

[s]Have you been to other Nigerian states? You will realise that their public schools are 10x worse. I've noted that all you do is paint an extremely bad image of the Akwa Ibom state government. What ever personal grievance you have with either Akpabio or the present Governor shouldn't obstruct objectivity in your thought process. Keep on shielding your dark hatred with your so called investigative reports.[/s]

Lol one of the richest states in Nigeria with the biggest budgets has to compare itself to poorer states? Instead of you to demand better you're mad I pointing out the elephant in room. No wonder the public education went down the drain when bottom feeders like you accept crumbs.

Lol even political prostitutes like you dont send your kids to public schools. All you can do is deflect and say others are worse. Please continue bending over for Akpabio and Udom since you love them so much.

Ps: There's more coming soon.

So Godswill owns Saint John 11? Mkpo sah ba! shocked

To the fellow who said it's a Catholic school, that's a religious lie!

Honestly, the news doesn't surprise me except the ownership of SJ2 by Akpabio. I've said it here severally that public schools are being run down to the extent poor people dread their services. This cuts across the country. Next point of destruction is the public university system.

This is another reason the church owned schools are under pressure to reduce cost.
The poor pay out tax to govt and tithes to churches but have lost hope in govt and therefore rest their hope on the church.
One thing I know is that, education isn't cheap anywhere and even if the govt provides all the ingredient for a standard system, it cannot sustain it.
Good infrastructure goes beyond initial capital and involves recurrent cost. Recurrent expenses requires more than intervention most govt bring to the table. Take Kaduna or Osun state for example after employing huge staff or building new schools where will the funds to maintains those structure and pay staffs come from ?
What each state needs most is a good IGR mechanism. You can't make economic projections on unstable income like oil income.

@HigherEd, this might interest you.

You will still come out to justify evil. Why don't you also carry out your own investigation and give reasons why Akwa Ibom is a good place instead of bringing politics to everything. You want Nigeria to be better you need to do the right things and not support evil. That's if you really want a better Nigeria.

Ok. It's a good thing that they have a good school to keep them in the state. But they should make sure they effectively eliminate Akwa Ibom-infected English accent because it sounds disgusting to the ear
It's sickening to know that there are people like u out there who still wallow in abject ignorance, belittling other tribes and placing senseless stereotypes. Have u ever heard an Akwa Ibomite speak? I bet u, their accentuation minimal and their fluency, impeccable.
It is so very wrong for you to judge based on some fictional stuff u see in the screens, it's a facade. If u do not correct this mentality, u will end up embarrassing yourself in limitless dimensions....

These political prostitutes are almost as bad as the theives themselves. Even this guy probably sends his kids to private schools. Lol why shouldn't the government be held accountable for state of public schools. If the situation wasnt so crazy the author wouldnt have material to make six part expose.
