Nigeria is a kind of Animal farm. They destroyed the public education system that produced many of them and now farm their kids off to the best schools leaving the poor to perish and they think it will last forever? Well karma is coming with its double edged sword . Until a legislation is passed where its stated that if you are in public service your kids must be in public schools only then would we get it right. Rubbish country. Go to public schools in all these western countries and you will cry for the wickedness the black man is inflicting on his fellow men. 1 Like |

Sochimaobim: People are poor because they try to copy and paste the lives of rich people. My grandfather used to transport palm fruit from the farm, by canoe along the river to the collection point where White men collected and took it to England. Right here, this same Nigeria That time, people had no shoes, no cars, no TV. People were contented. 1920~1930 Guess what? £1 = N1. - If you are contented with your own local produce, your currency has high value. Everybody has work. No thieves. Today, everybody wants TV, Fridge, apple, cornflakes, jeans, watch. All kinda of imported items. We don't produce any of them. But we want everything imported in our homes. 2018 Guess what? £1 = N420. This same Nigeria. 3 Likes |

Ermacc:. Bro, like you said, there's an element of biased reporting from the post. Nigerian states in general have failed in all ramifications not only in education and Akwa Ibom state as the reporter will want the general public to believe. I am not saying this because i want to hold a brief for any of the politicians he mentioned. Gone are the days when our governments look inward to create parity in service delivery to citizenry. To me, Governor Udom is a failure when compared to his predecessor, the Senate minority leader, Chief Godswill Obot Akpabio. However, the state of public schools at Akwa Ibom is not his making. The reporter should not look forward to the likes of Udom to send their children to public schools. Before Udom-Emmanuel became the chief executive officer of Akwa Ibom state, he was comfortably paying about #3m annually for each of his two daughters in one of the affluent schools in South West Nigeria where you have children of who's who in Nigeria including state Governors. He also ensured that they travelled to the best states in the world for their University education. I am privy to these information given that I was privileged to prepare them in Cambridge GCE. One who can't afford to send his/her children to private schools like the above mentioned school students will say, should go and work smart. |

SmartPolician: Who are you mbok? Did you attempt that course: the use of English? If you did, you’ll know that the influence of mother tongue is in every tribe. Do you know how your own English accent sound in other people’s ears. Some of you are so fun of stereotypical tendencies. When you listen to Yorubas, Hausas, Ibos, Ijaws, etc you won’t come and sound so low and extremely foolish as you are sounding in your vomit. 5 Likes |

This reporter deserves to be heavily sued for this kind of invasion of privacy. Posting pix of kids and the schools they attend is just a no no especially in this Era of kidnapping, you even named their parents and positions occupied, what a good way to give free information to evil people... So terrible, all for politics and 2019.For your information wealthy people don't owe you shit, while most of them especially the ones with clean wealth will be bursting their heads working round the clock to afford this kind of life, some poor people are busy in one beer parlor drinking beer by 9am on a Monday morning. Our bad government is everyone's fault, not just politicians. The poor people taking 500 Naira to sell their votes and vote in the wrong person are also the problem. |

Godwin978: Lol you political prostitutes are a weird bunch. Instead of demanding better you ranting about APC and PDP like its a football debate. Theres nothing impressive to speak of in education. Even you wont send your kids to the decrepit public schools. Now go back to servicing your master if you have no counter arguements to points written. Im glad Mobil is building new school in the state since Udom feels a new church is a better use of funds. 2 Likes |

Blue3k2: You're just a terrible person, better take down this post. Did you visit all the schools in Aks to see that they're all bad or you just chose these 3 bad schools to spread fake news? |
Re: Inside The First-Class Schools Children Of Akwa Ibom Elite Attend by Blue3k2: 10:31pm On Jun 06, 2018 |
macaranta: Lol how is it fake news? Post pictures of the great public schools your kids go to. I posted more than three schools. Do you need pictures of over 300 schools before you get the point. Again you political prostitutes are a weird bunch. Seriously go to places the author mentioned and snap your own pictures or post other nice institutions in state. |
