According to a particular nairalander who lives in the US, very many of Nigerian men in the United States prisons are there because they killled their wives. This was said in a thread that reported the news of a man who killed his wife because he could no longer endure the treatment he received from her. He had brought her over from Nigeria, sent her to school to study Nursing. When she began earning higher income than her husband she changed into a different person, always clubbing, coming home at any time she liked, receiving calls from different men, disrespecting him, refusing to compose herself as a married lady. This went on for some years until the man decided he had had enough, damned the consequences, and murdered her.

I am in no way approving his evil action and I'd rather be cheated on than harm anybody let alone kill someone but I believe and still maintain that most Nigerian ladies may be doves here but once there, in the US, the weather has a way of turning them to venomous, unthankful and ungrateful vipers.
