PAGAN 9JA:

please my brother. when discussing slavery of Africans, i consider it unwise to portray the bible in good light. the very book that was the root cause of this mass deportation of our ancestors brothers and sisters.

give some other example next time. Like slavery under the Romans.

I wasn't using the bible as a reference for justice or inspiration for abolitionists. I am simply saying that slavery in the Americas was even worse compared to what is relayed therein. I mean, we all know that the slave-mongers 'baptised' our ancestors' 'soulless' kin before sending them to their doom. angry sad

About 4hundred years ago my family moved from some where in kogi to Ido-Ekiti, since then we have been recognized as Ekiti-Yoruba. Ekiti migrated from Ile-Ife and is one of the earliest migrations from Ile-Ife in yorubaland

Okay, it's fine if you choose not to contribute last your grandparents. I do remember you once hinted that you were in your seventies or sixties, so the grandparent of someone of your caliber would be equivalent to the great grandparent of mine which is still very interesting.

quite.

I can trace mine to the founder of my tribe, a nilote who was attracted to the Bantus way of life. Bantus did this alot, even let him be King in turns. He married a local wife, and about ten others who make up our sub tribes, whose sons make up the clans within the sub tribes, and their grand children the family divisions, their great grand children the house divisions, ,great great grand children the door subdivision. The founder of my ancestral door is my, ,great, great, great grand father. This goes back a few Hundreds of years. Our population now is over ten million.

Possibly to the time they were said to have migrated during the slave trade era,From what I was told, that should be the 18th century in southern igboland.

My great great great great grandfather was a businessman from Atani, Arochukwu and a relative of Eze Agwu Inobia. I have ancestors from the Oke Nnachi and Ibom Isii lineages as well.

My DNA indicates that my patrilineage were originally Bantus from present day Cameroon that migrated into the Arochukwu area.

My mother’s side comes from Nri. We are descendants of Eri. He was originally from the Igala Kingdom and settled in Northern Igboland.

No, Adam and Eve have nothing to do with me. That’s Middle Eastern mythology.
