BabaRamota1980:
With certainty you cannot run from ekladheran nor his father, nor the queen or owodo"s chiefs. You also cannot escape Igala and that mask. You cannot run away from Biafran Republic. You cannot escape the British expedition and its nonsense. However much you try and use witchery, they are stuck on you from now on in Nairaland.

There far more revelations to disclose...but there is a wisdom that there is no permanent enemy. So we possibly might end up in future banding together against others....for that reason we are keeping somethings back from internet. We are not here to shame you...but to dispute and discredit your ekladheran bullshyyte.
And what can the Yorubas run from?
Can you run from Edos conquest and subjugation of your race?
Can you run from the history of countless Yoruba monarchs beheaded by Benin?
Can you run from the fact that Benin founded Lagos?
Can u run from the truth that many present day Yoruba monarchs were installed by Benin Kingdom?
Can u even run from the truth that your people still engage in human rituals? Even yesterday a Yoruba child was used for rituals..
Can you run from the fact that your Oni is a descendant of a slave usurper and you are being ruled by slave.

Your mark is stuck on you in real life not on nairaland.

Hahahahahahaha..... grin

Ekladheran, everytime i ask you to define your conquest of villages in compare to facing off with your mates you use witchery to dissapear.

Stay put. You hear?
Why were you raiding small villages and farm communities and calling it conquest?

Why did you not fight kingdoms your size? Like Egba, Igala, Nupe....

See the conquered denying his History..
Do you forget that your forefathers were weaklings who were continually conquered and subjugated?
Great Benin Kingdom conquered and ruled Eastern Yoruba.
Fulani conquered and ruled Ilorin
Nupe conquered and ruled Oyo.

Now the Igbos are taking Lagos away from you, relegating your people to the slums.
NUPE never ruled oyo oyo encroached on them first ruled them for hundreds of years sango alafin mother was from nupe Nupe oral history is not complete without mentioning yoruba Nupe man speak both yoruba and nupe dialect .. Have their own version oral history of oranmiya and oduduwa... They grew in Military strength and destroyed oyo ile ,oyo relocated it's capital..oyo came back more stronger to chase them out across the Niger ...how many yoruba can speak nupe but most nupes speak yoruba even in Niger state ..

Lol.. Ada in Edo language means outside..
it may also mean something in other languages. I had expected that you shud know that there are some words that sound the same in different languages but have different meanings in each language..
Arguing with u guys have made me realize that Yorubas are not really educated as claimed. There are dull Yorubas like babaramota. That guy is a slowpoke..
So Ada isnt the ‘sword' being carried by Oba Bini's messenger when he walks publicly to show his strength in his kingdom ? Hmmm Ada and outside indeed grin? Show me a proof that it mean outside in Bini language. Oba Bini, whose ancestors were bloody Yoruba men used the word for sword. Proof it wrong grin

Great point!

Consider this...
Ado/Udo/Edo/Idu

Yoruba own these people.

If i tell them their history here dem go cry. Their witchery will not save dem from shedding tears by time i conclude. But we must keep some weapon in the back pocket.....cant let it all out just like that.

Olu,
Ask them the meaning of Ada/Uda/Ida. I want to hear their explanation.

grin
Watch....they are going to respond with picture of a Yoruba in turban. They are combing internet to find a tie to fulani. Edo and witchery ehhn, mmmtchhew grin grin
They have no answer and will not do but conjure all form of fairytale . We have proven to them, that Oba Bini belong to Yoruba. Ada is an imported word likewise Asé which Bini calls Itsé etc. In the future, when anyone doubt aand stumble on this thread, knowledge would be acquire that Yoruba have no problems once the Edos don't revise our connection to Oba Bini.Oba and his bini's households are Yoruba's property.

Your problem is that u fail to realize that Nigerians are educated and can easily research for information.. your continuous rant about Igalas and nupes does not hold water. They were both defeated by Mighty Benin.
I prefer to stay focused on Yoruba. The Yorubas (including Egba) were conquered and ruled by Benin. Conquering Yoruba was the easiest for us. Your ancestors choose to flee into the bushes when Benin is coming. Your cowardly Men fled leaving their wives and children behind.. you know how many Yoruba men fell inside hole and some drowned while running away from Benin army?
Google is your friend, go research you will see it there. Yoruba too small for Edo..

Its you who is clearly doing selective revisionism.

Isn't it rather strange that you seem not to be aware that the British operated with the instrumentality of indirect rule which made it necessary for them to impose stooges as kings and also rejig arrangements of traditional societies.

Kings were deposed all over Nigeria by the Brits and those who showed loyalty were allowed to remain.

Your type of selective historians would always regard the Awujale as a revisionist, but the Awujale made solid points and several instances where he had made clarification on the Alake issue with the Alake present and strangely, the Alake never issued a rejoinder.

Where there ever any records of traditional rulers organizing meetings amongst themselves prior to the coming of the Brits?

The British set up a system that worked for them while dubious politicians coming after them perpetuated those unhealthy practices. Awolowo was particularly notorious for such, to the extent of taking it to the issue of olu of warri.

The point still remains, there has never been any list of hierarchy of Yoruba kings. The Alake is dubious and a fraud and is clearly the one revising history. Awujale stated his position properly. I'm sure, the Alaafin would be happy to see him placed second on some list written under a mango three.

Read for yourself and see the Awujale totally destroy the Alake. http://punchng.com/alake-is-a-junior-king-in-yorubaland-awujale/
You need be given a knock on the head grin for this your nonsensical statement. Have not read that ILEIFE was the source of Yorubas. Even Kingdoms that are older than OYO ,BINI,IJEBU, OKUN, IWO,IKOYI , acknowledged Ooni and ILEIFE . Go visit Orangun ILA( the first son of Odua) , Owu, Popo King, Oniketu , Obokun etc and ask them, whose seat is supreme? They will inform you as Oba Bini acknowledge recently cheesy that Ooni seat, is the most revered ,because it was the seat of their ancestor, called , Oduduwa/Admila . Funny enough, Oranmiyan sustained this legacy and his descendants uphold it .

A true Empire, a civilized people know their history throughly and then know the history of their neighbours as well. Why is it Yoruba is teaching Edo its history and that of its neighbors? Because they are uncivilized. Can you believe they had no clue that their palace face mask is in posession of Attah. They were at first arguing until we proved it.

Nupe and Yoruba, Baruba and Yoruba, Kanuri and Yoruba.....even Daura, yes...the Hausa Origin in Daura....hold on let me say this clearly.

There are two sets of people in Nigeria, the Aborigines and the Immigrants.

Ife aborigines (Ugbo), Nupe aborigines, Igala aborigines, Edo aborigenes (Efa), Ijaw aborigines, Ibo aborigines (ngwa), all these people have one root and that is the Niger-Benue basin.....these were descendants of NOK.

The traces of commonality in spoken language of Southern people have its roots in the Niger-Benue clan.

Then there is a band of Nilotic/Semitic settlers that arrived in waves. These ones brought with them king-priest covenants.

They entered here through the Chad water basin and settled there. A band of them remained in Chad. The rest moved down to the Niger-Benue water basin and remained there.

There were two distribution paths.

1. The Chad band spread westward into another water basin in Daura. From here they formed the Habe dynasty. The group that remained in Chad formed the Kanemi dynasty.

2. The Niger-Benue settlers went westward as well. They stopped on the Niger River. From here they broke into three directions.

a. Nupe
b. Baruba
c. Ile Ife

Each had its dynasty.

The Ile Ife party formed Oduduwa dynasty. They are known as Yoruba.

The Ife dynasty further spread out into the East, including Bini. Bini also gave spring to more dynasties.

So all the aborigines now have foreign settlers ruling over them.
How about Ngwa?

A band of Nilotic people had also migrated further away from Chad and down into the Congo basin. This group are nomadic. Some of them settled in Cameroun and others found their way into Nigeria and into the Ngwa land. Strangely, they had no dynasty and did not establish rulership. This due to the fact the settlers were hunters, not Kings or Priests. This set is the Igbo clan. Their King and Priests were left behind in Congo.

Similar movement occurred with Awori, a priest lineage that went and found new settlements on the coast but did not set up dynasty but Bini came afterward and extended its dynasty to rule over them. Bini dynasty also ruled a part of Iboland.
