President Muhammadu Buhari has rejected the amendment to the Electoral Act, which intended to change the country's elections sequence, Daily Trust has learned. The president, it was gathered, gave three reasons for withholding assent to the bill, which was passed by both chambers of the National Assembly.

Sources told us that the president has yesterday communicated his decision to the federal legislature in two separate letters addressed to the Senate President Bukola Saraki and Speaker Yakubu Dogara.

The sequence just like this seemingly deft masterstroke of manipulation via the June 12 imbroglio will be of no consequence in the long run.

A man acclaimed by Zombies to be very popular yet afraid to test his true popularity and acceptance by the people without any bandwagon effect.
Test your popularity when others know they have nothing to gain or lose by working for or against you haven stood and concluded their own respective elections.
The change would have allowed the President stand on his own and test his easily proclaimed electoral value.
