@POLITICSNGR President Muhammadu Buhari has declined assent to the amended electoral bill. Ita Enang, senior special assistant to the president on national assembly (senate), said the president has communicated his decision to the national assembly. Although Enang avoided making a categorical statement on the bill, he said Buhari assented to the National University Commission Amendment Act. In September, Buhari turned down the bill for the second time, asking the national assembly to revise some clauses. The national assembly had passed the bill on July 24 and transmitted to the president on August 3. https://politicsngr.com/breaking-buhari-rejects-electoral-bill/ 11 Likes 2 Shares |

Why does Jubrin want to burn down Nigeria, before returning to Sudan. How can a near perfect electoral amendment that guarantees Nigeria a perfect electoral process be continuously rejected by him. Its obvious the man is scared of a free, fair and credible election and Nigerians must be prepared whatever means it takes to vote and guard their votes in 2019 and also stop electoral fraud from taking place, since the dullard has refused to sign a law the prevents all that in the first place. 206 Likes 15 Shares |

We need to know why he's declining assent before taking a position. There may be valid reasons for the decline. 30 Likes 3 Shares |

Why is the NA acting lazy? just fix the damn thing. He has clearly stated that he will not be signing complications and duplications into law. Fix it. That you send the same bill over and over again for assent doesn’t mean he’ll buckle. 54 Likes 5 Shares |

The times he had rejected the bill in the past, he had good reasons. I’m sure there will be a reason for this rejection as well this time around. 24 Likes 3 Shares |

I am very sure the president did not read the bill. Could it be that the two strong men that Aisha spoke about are the one advising PMB not to sign the electoral act bill? What is PMB afraid of? Even his party APC will be perplex about his decision not to sign the bill. The greatest weakness of PMB is that he can easily be manipulated by his close aides for their selfish bids. In respective of party affiliations, Nigerians should be genuinely worried that PMB is desperate and is not interested in free and fair election! 6 Likes 1 Share |

My own take. I don't want to say this or that is wrong. We need good governance in this country. None of these Butiķu can deliver. Rather a revolution that involves good ideology with massive enlightenment by all and sundry. A massive coalition that will involve higher institution students, Labour union, market women and men. Like sowore type but different in modification. The convener should not be ambitious. If we are able to start. It will spread like wild fire throughout the country. Then, we can now confront Butiķu. But aside of that. Forget it. Then, I need to add that I cherish sowore, madam oby and others. They should continue the struggle. 2 Likes |
