You know how a person becomes Vice President and later contest for President. After first term, he contests again. Making it a total of about 12years. This is all shades of wrong particularly when there is no evident growth or development. Vacate the seat so vibrant and younger people can run. This is not just a Nigerian problem, it is an African problem. We suffer from the 'sit tight syndrome". And their reason for this is not far fetched, our leaders feel the need to be corrupt and insensitive. Ordinarily, a good and visionary leader is not concerned with self succession. Hence, Buhari has signed a bill stoping Vice President and Deputy Governors from carrying mat to aso rock. Buhari is working.

It's great to remove another confusion from the Nigerian constitution. Every tenet must be tested and it takes courage to do the right thing. President Buhari has the nerve of steels and it's good for Nigeria to have a determined leader like that.

It’s against the rights of the sitting Vice President to vote and be voted for

If we are limiting number of terms that is ok but to say he can not contest at all is nonsense
