Revenge. Apart from the gore and action, some of the stunts they pulled is unacceptable.
1. She survived being impaled by that sharp tree trunk without any damage to her internal organs. C'mon mehn. I don't buy that.
2. Coming out of it without major bleeding is bullshyt.
3. After placing that hot flat can of beerbon that massive injury and the print from the can appeared on her skin exactly as it were on the can, is another goof
It was supposed to appear laterally reversed, just like in the mirror.
4. And to say the massive wound healed in one night, that's less than 24 hours is stupid of the director.
5. A corpse thrown in the river to swell and float just from night to morning is not feasible.
6. That massive injury she dealt the last guy in the penthouse plus the heavy bleeding was supposed to kill him instantly. But I wonder how he got the strength to keep running upandan the house.
That movie is 4/10.

Acrimony...

Time is a burden many bear on their shoulders, and they open their eyes and discover they are old. What they do in that time shapes their future actions and of course, reactions. However, actions taken in anger sometimes have devastating consequences.

The story was narrated from the lead character's POV. I kept looking for her husband's flaws, then as the movie progressed, I realised her narration was VERY subjective. Angry, bitter and twisted.

Brilliant.

However, there were so many flaws in the production, and heavens, the ending scenes ruined everything. Beorn you were right about that ending. Simply awful

7/10.

I told ya. The ending ruined it for me. A better ending to the movie would have seen me joining the Tyler adulation parade.

I can think of a couple of alternate endings that would have worked well for the movie, not this Nollywood conclusion they served us. Mscheeeew

Don't get me wrong. The whole movie is very interesting and thought provoking. It's just the ending that could have been better. The gradual change of the lead character from heroine to stark raving mad villain was very creative, and despite the Nollywood ending, it is still worth the MB used in downloading.

As someone that has seen "Gone Girl", the movie "Acrimony" just seems like a black version of lower quality.

The guy is making a social statement. People can be offended about kids being shot in a make believe world, but will do absolutely nothing when toddlers are killed by guns and children shot every day in the real world of the USA.
