OYSG GIVES TAJU A NEW LIFE

The wife of Oyo State Governor Dr Florence Ajimobi today, met with the little boy, Tajudeen Ibrahim Agbabiaka, that trended on social media some days ago.

It can be recalled that Taju was recorded in an instagram video, where he was asked questions in English language and could not respond because he could not converse in the language.

The Oyo state government has taken responsibility and custody of the child through the child welfare unit of the state government.

Dr Ajimobi reiterated her commitment to improving the quality of life of children and urged the young parents not to be irresponsible to the role of training their children but care for the children with the required nourishment and basics of life.

In the meantime, case work intervention is on going on the issue so as to bring it to a logical conclusion.

The state government has reiterated its commitment to reducing the vulnerability of children and the under privileged in the state.

So if this young chap hadn't been filmed and posted on social media nothing could have been done to correct his English deficiencies??

why i commend the importance of social media and what it is revealing i believe the govt most play her role as not everyone can be on social media for similar reasons

They should setup effective institutions that can handle cases like this professionally and efficiently too.

All this playing to the gallery does not create a dynamic system. What this means now is all parents with talented or gifted children without money to train them should find away to get on TV let us see how many of such they can be showing off as sponsoring.

A country that is without visionary leaders is going nowhere. This nation needs urgent restructuring along regional lines immediately. There is no other way out than that else it will be a matter of time when one day shall surely come.

To me all the+se is a waste of time and unnecessary publicity. How many people wan sponsor this boy? Alibaba, don jazzy, AY , now this. Whats the assurance the boy will justify the money spent on him? One sponsor is enough and let the little kid focus instead of carrying him up and down.

This is suppose to be a reasonable comment.

I don't understand us at all... I really don't understand Nigerians at all. Help the poor boy and let him move on with his life quietly . I think some people re trying to use this little boy to elevate their lives oh. We re dubious , envious , crafty in nature.. Nigerians we hate each other when there is no benefits coming from the other side...

There are millions of less privileged kids accross the country without access to education and can't speak English to save their lives, what makes this one different? Because someone did a video of him? Rather than set up scholarship or grants for intelligent poor children, they will want to leverage on the rave of the moment to gain points. Once the hype fizzles and people are no longer talking about him, they drop him like a piece of hot coal and he's back to square one.
No truer words have ever been said

I will take the screen shot of the picture because I prophecy that in the next 20 years to come. Taju will ask for it with 30billion to anyone with useful information about the picture taken with the Governor.

I don’t know why most Nigerians have the same mindset, so many hypocrites. So if the guy didn’t do a video they won’t know there are many kids like him out there. All fake celebrities, trying to act generous. If you really want to help people the whole world shouldn’t know, it’s not by force.

Exactly! This is the situation with most Nigerian kids. But some reason only known to some people, it is been treated as a special case.

Nice one, but Governor, you know, the cost of one of your shoes could feed children like Taju for weeks...
And that fleet of cars could educate your whole state...

just saying. undecided
