Can you be more specific. What is actually the problem with your boy?
Also you could go through my threads, and learn one or two things about managing sickle cell disease.

Please ensure he uses e the routine drugs daily which include folic acid, paludrine and astymin from time to time. You will need hydraxine daily.

Ensure you feed him well. Don't wait for the pain crises to escalate before taking him to the hospital. He will be fine.

have u read on glutathione level and sickle cell crises . u really should . am a nurse and some hematologists I know use this mechanism
