I applied for Italy Government Scholarship and I've not heard anything from them. My application status still shows SENT. Does that mean I am not shortlisted or what. I will soon start pre enrolment in my school and their is no enough cash to sponsor myself to Italy oo.
Meanwhile, I dont think there will be opportunity to work in that country with student visa. Someone should please enlighten me. I've not take any step. Someone should please direct me. My school is Ca'Foscari University of Venice, Italy

Meanwhile, when I login and check my application details, this is what i saw

The scholarship does not support all programmes even if the school is among those supported.

There is something I dont seems to understand very well and I want you people to orientate me. Though I've been given admission and I applied for tuition waiver.....I've not heard anything from them and they've not issued any invoice for me to pay anything......but I was sent something like this......Declaration of value / Statement of comparability certificate........I learnt that before I finish all those things including authentication, I wouldn't spend less than 120k.......

The question is, should I wait for the outcome of the school decision about tuition waiver or what?
They sent me message that pre-enrolment exercise will commence on early July.
Please what should I do

That's because you haven't gone through the posts here. I bet you if you read from page 1, you will get more than enough information about everything. I read through and I have been able to get much information. But if you are confused about a particular step, then let us know.

Re: Italian Student Visa-help! by preachoval: 1:14pm On Jun 16, 2018
If you've received an acceptance/pre-acceptance letter. Don't you waste no more time, Quickly begin your pre-enrollment at the designated Italy embassy or consulate (abuja or Lagos). To do this you MUST first translate your educational files @ the specified official translator by Italy Embassy, schedule an appointment with the translator as soon as possible as it takes a long time to process. You will be charged 2k naira per file and Only Drop your photocopies with them and you are good to go for the next stage which is attesting all your educational credentials at MOE Abuja.

Following this, you have to proceed to MFA to do same but this time around you have to include your NPC sworn affidavit, birth cert.

After all this is done do walk up to the Italian Embassy anytime from 9:00 am till 12:00 pm MON-FRI for pre-enrollment and legalization, go there with both your translated documents, respective certified copies and the pre-acceptance letter from your institution passport photo and all other relevant documents.

ALSO, KEEP IN MIND THAT THE PRE ENROLLMENT CLOSES 24th OF JULY, 2018 and the overall expense including pre-enrollment, certifications at moe and mfa won't cost more than 75k naira. This also depends on the number of documents that you have

That's all the information you require for now and should you have any further doubt, ask the embassy or consulate official during the pre-enrollment.

ALL THE BEST

Hello everyone,

For those planning to apply for a study visa at the Italian Consulate this year, this one that the Consulate has still not resumed receiving visa application at VFS, how application for study visa go be this year, abeg? I am asking because I have almost completed my legalization and pre-enrollment, but I have no idea how to go about submitting application for visa? Do we have to send an email to the Visa office to book an appointment like we did for the legalization, or do we have to wait and hope/pray that the Consulate resumes application collection at VFS soon?

Please, if anyone here is resuming school in Italy this year and has been able to apply for a study visa at the Consulate, please show us the way o. How did you go about submitting your visa application?

Thank you.

how is it going with your spending in Italy just so you know FCMB are offering a mastercard that lets you spend upto 5k dollars anywhere of your choosing.

O boy do you know the value of $5000 in Naira.
I just urge you all going to Italy to know how you spend because Italian economy is not a country were you spend 1k & receive 2k in return due to the low job availability.
I wish all Italian students to be best of luck.
Make your family & Nig proud
