The birthplace of Dr Nnamdi Azikiwe, Dim Emeka Ojukwu and David Mark, Zungeru Niger State.

Photo: Zungeru market 1900. It was the capital of Northern Nigeria and with a civil service migration.A lot of southerners lived and worked there.
In 1916, two years after the 1914 union of the colonies of Northern and Southern Nigeria into one colonial entity, Lugard moved the north's capital to Kaduna.

The greatest mistake to befall the South of Nigeria is this so called Amalgamation!

Where the South funds the otherside and all the funding side gets back in return is violence angry

This is exactly what the old politicians want us to continue doing. Going for each others jugulars, young men fighting each other on religious and tribal lines.

We are first HUMANS before we are Christians, Muslims, Hausa, Yoruba, Igbo. A chicken from the north sees a chicken from the south as his brother but we that are blessed with a higher understanding of life kill each other physically and verbally.

Let us win this fight against youths, against Humanity, against our freedom. Let us open the eyes of our minds and see the decay and ruins our fathers have landed us in.

Since we have tried hatred for each other and it isn't working, why don't we try Love? It would be difficult at first but it is always worth it at the end

Hmmmm! There will forever be differences in a place where two or more people are. Even in a small nuclear family of a man, wife and two children, there is still struggle because of differences. The only way we(Africans esp Nigerians) can be better is to get over our differences,be positive and struggle for a better future. From what I am seeing on nairaland here, from the kind of mind set Nigerian youths have,we might become dangerous to this economy than our fathers.

You can do your own small effort to make life better or you can sit and blame everybody, die and be forgotten by history with no positive impact.
