Nairaland is not a state, travel to Imo, Anambra or Enugu after that you're free to say anything about development.

The greatest asset of any nation is its human capital.
It is a shame that the SE has not been able to translate its unparalleled human capital base to the indigenous development of igbo land.

But then, when was the last time an igbo man was president!?

Though our governors who are actually the worst of us have not done better too.

It is a general problem. A system whereby political parties with various nefarious interests churn out the worst among us to govern us.

I believe if ojukwu had succeeded, the system would have been much better in terms of producing much better igbo leaders with impeccable professional pedigree.

But then, we will never know.

Igbos have virtually taken over or covertly taking over major strides in commerce, and education. Igbo are truly a very old tribe. They adapt sharply to their environment and lead it. I sincerely blame the lack of education in the north on the leaders and the decline of n the SW on also her leaders. D SW were d first to enjoy quality education but the did not pass that knowledge down to their generations. Other tribes should beefing igbo and learn from them. In the USA majority of Nigerian doctors are igbo. SS is also gradually climbing the education ladder being led by the igbo.
Hmm IGBO AMAKA
Are you so sure of the majority of Nigerian doctors in the USA being Igbos?

I was just advising ur tribe out of the goodness of my heart. Yoruba's are wonderful only that they need to improve on their hygiene. I know a lot of Yoruba families that don't care whether the have had a bath, washed their clothes or kept their children clean. Their homes look like a dumpster, trash everywhere and you wonder why they have failed to be tidy. Even the very educated ones are no exemption. Even when they still live abroad that dirtiness still follows them. Go to London and see the slum the Yoruba's live in And you will be ashamed to call yourself a Nigerian.
All said and done, yourubas are still educated.

The title belongs now to the igbo nation with every relevant stat pointing to that direction.

South Africa has the highest number of world class schools in Africa.
