President Buhari's decision to shut down land Nigeria's borders to curb rice smuggling after due consultations might not go down well with everyone but it must be blissful to rice farmers. With local farmers/investors pouring millions into the agric sector to shore up local rice production, isn't it a great development someone is protecting their and Nigeria's interests? Is the land border shut down a great development or bad for business? Please leave your views in the Comment section.

Total madness, so rice is selling at 20000 naira with open border, means with close border it will sale at 30- 40.000 naira per bag of local rice.

This reform that Buhari has in place are really long term things.

We should not hurry and expect results.

But, it is all good.
