Even if it turns out that PDP is responsible for the heinous crimes in Benue, the Buhari Government has lost the votes and support of Christians due to its slow response to the crisis. The body language of the Government is overtly anti-Christian, and it is impossible to convince majority of Christians of the neutrality of the present Government at this point in the life of this administration.

Buhari can always make do with muslim votes and federal might to win the election, but he would surely not enjoy his 2nd term as he has millions of Christians against him coupled with the loss of goodwill from western governments—notably the United States of America.

Fingers crossed on the Buhari’s 2nd term sha as it is not yet uhuru.
