It's a could've , would've and should've show. The lil boy is gone. That's painful enough.

Sympathize with Dbanj and Didi. And keep the should've, would've, would've one side.

An indoor pool without a door? Not child friendly at all. It's almost impossible to keep an eye on your child 24 hours a day, that's why safety precautions should be put in place. May God console the bereaved parents and give them the strength to pass through this avoidable tragedy

Both parents should be charged for negligence and man slaughter. If their parents were this careless with them i doubt they will live to this age.

What a tragedy, condolences to Koko master and his wife..I recall a Naija woman that bought a house with a pool in New York, the first thing the lady did was to sandfill the pool, she said she can't take such chances with her little kids.. Always wise to put a fence round a pool especially if you have kids or pets running around..May his little soul RIP..

Who designed such a pool without parapets nor rails? That thing is an accident waiting to happen, could happen to an adult much more a toddler. They should have made provisions for covering it when not in use.

But what do I know.

Exactly and even when in use. I just think itโ€™s unwise to have an indoor pool in a house especially when you considering having a family in the future

Am very sad and it was with great shock i received the news of the sudden demise of our Daniel. The boy was a dream of alot of people looking up to God for the fruit of the womb.lovely, cute and diligent. May his humble soul rest at the bosom of the Almighty. It is indeed a pity and i Pray to God for the Family, Fultitude to bear the Irreplaceable loss.

The cause of too much money and also having the kid too early in life. Assuming they suffered, cried to God for solid 20years before any child drop, nobody will tell them to remove the swimming pool. Or sell the house and buy a house safe for kids.

Nobody will tell them. They will use their discretion to do the needful.

Dbanj should thank his stars, this is not abroad. Him and his wife will be jailed for negligence. Nonsense!

I hope we can all learn from this. Kids are not meant to be "spoilt" with your resources, they're meant to be trained.

My friend, stupidity is stupidity, D banj, the wife or whoever the child was in custody of before the tragic incident should be cooling things off in police custordy if it were to be in a sane clime. The father of the little rescued boy by the migrant in France was severely dealt with, even the child was taken away from him. If you can't take proper care of a child then use condom during sex....That is pure act of negligence and they deserve the lashing if not incarceration.

I really hope Linda Ikeji will learn from this. I'm almost sure she will get her baby a driver's license before his first birthday.

Your first responsibility as a parent is to train your child, not show the whole world how much you're ready to lavish on your child.

This is just so sad. May The cute little child be with the Lord. cry Parents should always keep an eye on their kids at all times. And parents should also live in homes that are children friendly. Avoid pools when u have toddlers around. It is just too risky.

A lot of ppl are just blaming the D' Banj and his wife. It was an accident, that could have been avoided, but pls let them mourn the loss of their baby. The worst thing that can happen to a parent, is to loose a child.
My prayer goes out to the family.

Occurrences like what just happened is God's way of warning people of their senselessness and vanity.

If they don't heed the warning, I am no prophet of doom, more tragedy will be unleashed.

We think we are in charge but something like the avoidable death of this adorable child projects our helplessness to the fore...

People who are more careful have died or still lost their loved ones. I have seen the tire of a trailer smashed into smithereens the head of an Okada man wearing a Helmet which in the opinion of the general public is a precautionary measure

Death comes in the most unsuspecting ways.

I lost my little niece to convulsion several years ago and we didn't have an indoor pool. Death is certain and it's hour uncertain. Precautionary measures notwithstanding.

Let's think of the pain Dbanj must be going through and send our condolences.

And do you know how many millions of death putting on helmets or wearing seat belts have prevented? We continue to give our condolence but stop giving excuse to unbridled negligence. Unfortunately the poor innocent baby is already gone and as painful as it is to the parents, whomever the adult that the child was suppose to be in the care of effed up big time and may have even faced criminal prosecution over child negligence for such wanton carelessness in some saner countries

There are things you don't do when you are raising a family. Like keeping a glass table as furniture in the house, you must sacrifice a lot when you have kids. sensible parents know this.how the hell do you create an indoor swimming pool in a home that's newly starting. Dbanj ought to know better.everything isn't about class.
