It is absolutely wrong for a country claiming to be secular based on the constitution to be practicing sharia law at the Federal level.

It is very unacceptable for a country whose citizens are multi-religious to be using tax of all citizens for paying salaries of Muslim-only sharia judges

Why are you not complaining about customary courts at the federal level? Even though the customs guiding these courts might seem absurd to some people.
Btw,there are grand Kahdis up in the Court of Appeal too,are you saying we should sack them all as well

Yes, Sharia system is a culture to "them" as clearly stated by you. Since it's a culture to them, then they should take responsibility by bearing the financial cost of sharia system.

Customary court judges are made up of all Nigerians whereas Khadis are made up of only Muslims.

It is purely religious injustice for FG to be using taxes of all Nigerians for running a religious system like the Islamic judicial system.

If Khadis must remain at federal level, then FG must deduct from allocation of sharia states to fund the system.

Its a state court financed by the state governments covered under part II of same chapter VII. Only the salaries of Kadis and Grand kadis of the sharia court of appeal like their counterpart of the customary courts of appeal is being paid by the FG. GET THIS INTO YOUR HEAD AND STOP FANNING THE EMBERS OF SECTIONAL AND RELIGIOUS DISHARMONY.

Yes, customary courts are not present in all states but they are not restricted to a particular religion unlike sharia courts that is solely for Muslims.

Nigeria legal system operates two conflicting law at the Federal level (civil law and sharia law) and that will STOP. Watch and see!
