Portugal intentionaly refuse to play crosses!! so many times they could have crossed the ball for CR7 and the other forward to try head it in the back of the net but they passed it back instead!

Poor poor team, it will take a serious tactics and seriousness for them to beat Uruguay.

Poor poor team, it will take a serious tactics and seriousness for them to beat Uruguay.

The players were trying to run down the clock.

It was frustrating to see, but they are through, that's all that matters.

The team has this sit-tight mentality that's hard to shake off. They had many opportunities to go for the kill and instead preferred to hold the ball.

Ronaldo missed a pk in the Euros group stage and still went on to score important goals in the knockout stage. De ja vu!

Nigeria did have their opportunities and did not take them. You don't miss 3 clear chances in a game of such magnitude and hope you don't get punished. Sweden missed such chances against Germany and paid for it.

I'm glad we had a good showing tho'.
