Applications for Intervention Cordinator with VSO-Nigeria is now open. VSO is the world’s leading development organisation that works through volunteers to fight poverty. We are unique in the way we bring people together to share their skills and experience, generate insights and ideas and, most of all, take action against poverty and exclusion. It’s a highly effective approach that works, and today is helping millions of people in some of the world’s poorest communities lift themselves out of poverty.

Role overview
The volunteer will work with VSO Partners to support the Coordination, Facilitation, and Implementation of VSO Sustainable Livelihoods Enhancement (SLE) Project

Skills, qualifications and experience required
– Familiar with current livelihoods sector programming.
– Knowledge of good agronomic practices and agro-based enterprises
– Practicing gender & cultural diversity.
– Strong skills for relating and working with men and women, boys and girls.
– Ability to take initiatives, team player who is able to work with minimum supervision

Allowance and accommodation

All volunteers have an allowance paid in local currency. The allowance meets reasonable living expenses in country, but will not be enough to send money home.

Zamfara is in north west not north east which is more affected by Biko Haram. Don't try to discourage applicants

Leave that matter, when crises go show like this, you set wey de south go fear fear. Was it not in Zamfara Sharia crisis started? Has there not been killings in Zamfara? No use that one look these people, when gbege go land like this, every southerner Na nyamiri for their eye

Lol. I've been out of the employee sphere for long so all these things no make sense to me. You should try it, if you're accepted and the stipend no make sense then waka and no put your better job at risk over this matter.

North West is still relatively calmer than North east
