I just hope there is someone else with the moniker fizzel and not myself. If such was referring to me, then you need to be a little bit careful with your ulterances and grow up. I've never had issues with newmum, neither was i active in the past 48hrs. Hopefully there is a fizzel that registered in May and not me. The way things are going here, it seems people just involve themselves in matters that do not concern them. If you feel you cant accord one some polite responses, why not just pass the post? Rather people just make comments as if we are toddlers. Probably thats all we get from a faceless group....all because of some info.

She runs a huge risk of having her application refused if she submits the application without passports for her kids. That is too important a document not to have.

@Dewys1 , ultimately the choice is yours, but if your score is around/above 440 I'd say decline on the last day if the passport is still not out

You know why I said so ehn, it's fresh in my memory. A former colleague of mine had this same issue with the Festac passport office and submitted his application a day to the deadline but included an LoE with the completed and stamped application form as proof, stating that his 3 year old son's passport was undergoing processing. The passport came out 29 days after submission, they went for medicals, raised a CSE and uploaded. He's on IP2 or so now, got his notes last weekend and everything seemed okay.

This might be a way out for Dewys1 especially if his/her CRS score has been depleted since he/she got the ITA. That was the condition I stated ab initio. Where the CRS score is still healthy enough to secure another ITA soon, declining this one wouldn't hurt.

Modified: @Dewys1, the decision is yours to make finally. Each person's application seems to be unique in this journey. I wouldn't decline an ITA though if I've fallen below 440 at these precarious times. Worst case scenario is application getting refused and fee refunded. There's really nothing to lose trying

But wait o, if you don't decline, wont it decline for you automatically?

Yes it would, and also terminate the profile. The applicant would have to create a new profile from scratch to enter the pool again. If you decline yourself, you get back in the pool, nothing changes

I typed a more elaborate response before, but somehow it disappeared with the network. No strength to type again.

Highlight of it was: You should be fine. NOC classification is a Government of Canada initiative that is also used by employers in Canada, not just for immigration purposes.
Your concern should be ensuring that the NOC duties and lead statement matches your actual job duties. If na by that one, a lot of us here won't have NOC to use for our applications. Most VOs will be familiar with the peculiarities of the Nigerian labor market. I guess it's medical personnel that should worry about this one. Cos I don't see any VO believing that one is a doctor with only a degree in accounting.

Ima2:
Hello everyone,
I am at the reference letter gathering stage, My NOC is 1221 Admin officers as my job suties fits this. However, on the CIC site, i found this clause(The Bolded) in the employers requirement for this NOC

I thought this was well understood as I thought sister Fresty I was addressing was same person that made your position earlier. My comment wasn't made to rubbish Fresty talk less of you.
See your comment below, since you have forgotten in a hurry that you never joined issues with Newmum0615 on POF/misrepresentation. And you also claimed you weren't active in the last 48hrs, at least data and facts don't lie.
All this big 'manity' attitude in niaja is really not taking us anywhere. Humility is key.
I rest my case, as I am just passing by, I refuse to join issues with you no matter the matter.
Enjoy!

He asked this same question, he got an answer. But e still wan ask. When we cause them to put in more stringent measures in checking applications from Nigeria, maybe we will learn.

Na waaaoooo.. that i mailed you and got a reply and still came here to ask same doesn't make it an offence. Atleast understand that people have different circumstances but when you lash out at one just because he or she needed more responses,i dont think it is nice at all. Thanks all the same.

A big congratulations to you..

It's PPR guys, see timeline below;

CRS: 463
ITA: Jan. 24, 2018
AOR: April 4, 2018
MEP: April 12, 2018
IP1: April 12, 2018
ADR: May 10, 2018 (for new passport, as previous passport was due for expiry in 9 months)
ADR Sent: May 18, 2018
IP2: June 21, 2018
Ghost Update: June 25, 2018
PPR: June 27, 2018
VO: Ottawa

Just a brief highlight:

POF - Gift Deed (64%), while a fixed deposit account was opened with the entire POF. I got a reference letter from GTBank (thanks to my account officer whom I have never met, I simply sent a mail to her requesting the letter in IRCC format) and then added it to the fixed deposit certificate, as well as evidence of gift transfer, and a reference letter and statement from my PFA.

ECA - I made a mistake earlier which turned out to be in my favour, did my ECA with WES in October 2017 and friends advised it should have been with PEBC, but coming here I learnt if my NOC wasn't 3131 then I'm good to go with WES. My advise to pharmacists with only BPharm degree, please use PEBC (irrespective of your NOC) to gain points for professional degree.

IELTS - As per IELTS, I didn't find it easy at all. Listening humbled me big time but in all I give thanks to God and my lovely wife for her unflinching encouragement, her question after every attempt was "so babe when are you registering again?" smiley, giving up was never part of our options. My attempts below;

Aug. 2017 - 1st Attempt: L6.5, R6.0, W6.5, S7.5
Sep. 2017 - 2nd Attempt: L7.5, R7.5, W7.0, S7.5
Oct. 2017 - 3rd Attempt: L7.0, R7.0, W7.0, S7.5
Dec. 2017 - 4th Attempt: L7.0, R7.0, W7.0, S8.0
Jan. 2018 - 5th Attempt: L9.0, R7.0, W7.0, S8.0

Special salute to @GlitteringStar, @Newmum0615, @Ethelia, @mcstan18 and other e-folks here for the amazing and altruistic assistance you guys are rendering. It will surely end in praise for all!

1. Got the gift a week before I fixed it, the fixed deposit account was opened a week before I submitted my application.

2. Evidence of transfer I used was the email alert from GTBank, I didn't submit statement of account. I also submitted a notarized gift deed.

Thank you. smiley

Congratulations and may the Maple land favour you and all yours.

Could you please give further details about your POF.

1) How close to your submission date did you get your gift deed and fixed deposit certificate?

2) When you mentioned "evidence of gift transfer". Did you include your SOA showing the transfer of the gift or you only used a Deed of gift?

Thank you and regards to your Super Woman.

Paddy meee, go ahead with WES from what Enitan just said from his personal experience, so long you ask them to evaluate both degrees( diploma and Bsc). Also ensure you furnished them with both transcripts.
You shall be fine.

Ok, but the issue is that the B.Sc has already been sent this week, the Diploma processing might be ready next week or upper week. Hence her fear, if we had both ready, we would have sent it together but alas one is on the way, the other is still been processed.

I think you should go ahead and submit your application if/when it is obvious that the passports wouldn't be ready before submission deadline. Raise a CSE to add them when they're ready. Do not let this pus you into declining this ITA, especially if your CRS score has dropped (below 440) since you got your ITA.

I am sincerely weary of this mcstan.

Going back doesn't help. What I usually do is copy my replies before I hit the submit button. If it disappears, I just use ctrl+v to get it back.
