Buhari busy setting up ports in land locked northern nigerian states while systematically ignoring the southern waterways which has aceess to the Atlantic. The idea is to make importing much more easier for the northern folks at the detriment all Nigerians. I can bet that import duties would be far cheaper with loads of government tax allowance in place for his people based of some inefficiencies and what not. Also, importing of illegal and suspicious materials would be brought into the country via these means easily, after all na "dem dem". Yaya bello freshly comes to mind here with Dino exposing military wears and hardware imported by him. We southerners must be watchful of those desperate to be in power by all means come 2019. The money, power and influence is just to sweet for them to let go so easily. Haven't you noticed that all the big northern marriages are happening under this regime due to the advantages that come based on their own at the top. 5 Likes |

FriendNG: Its a river port. If customs gives approval it will be port of destination and origin. Thats means you can ship this directly to River port for pickup. I assume the federal government will since they already did same for Kaduna dry port. 2 Likes 1 Share |

victorazyvictor: Ok so you have no point. Onitsha port and Baro ports are in similar situations. Both ports were finished in last aministration but were never brought online. Thats why neither ports been concessioned or Gazetted. Can you explain what stopped the southern president in 2012 and 2014? 3 Likes 2 Shares |

selemempe: If you or loved ones are keeping the Hausa the north as a gate keepers, you are on your own. They will played football with you in the morning, massacres you in the night. Discharge them and replace them with Biafrans youths. All of our maids and gate keepers are Biafrans. And we are showing them their real identities and the truths they were not taught before because of killing of our history by Britain Fulani Nigeria terrorists. |

Sometimes I just can't imagine how some of us reason issues/think. Lying and wasting there, is Port Harcourt sea port, Warri sea port, Sapele river port, Koko sea port, Onitsha river port, Bonny island port, etc. All these which can create jobs for the teaming so called "Lazy Youths" have not recivd any single govt attention yet they are building News ones becos they want to make us see/think dat they are working. Some months back, in Kaduna, an Inland port was commissioned; becos they think they must have a port. Why not revive the afore mentioned ports to prove dat they really working? 4 Likes |

blackaxe78: They have selective memory which causes them to hace odd lapses in logic. Look how they're wailing about Ibom Deep seaport when the administration budgeted for it. If im correct the buhari administration was first to. IDSP also doing final bidding process to for concessionaire. Lol even the FTZ in Abia was was approved during this administration. Again if Jonathan and Akpabio started pricess back in 2013 the port would probably be hear by now. 4 Likes 3 Shares |
