So Sad!! Owerri foremost humanitarian and politician known as Paulcy Nnamdi has been kidnapped. A Humanitarian of this generation, a man with a big heart, the father of needy has been missing for 8 days now.

According to a reliable source, who said the victim is nowhere to be found, no contacts, no calls and no communication for the past 8 days. we pray he is in good hands.

Mr. Nnamdi should be released by his abductors immediately. Nnamdi is not part of the problem. He is part of the solution and many like him should be encouraged in this country.

As an aside: Partisan politics is very dangerous in Nigeria. When you engage in political activities of a particular party, you open yourself up to attacks from opposition parties.

Doing humanitarian work, freely and without undue influence from "certain quarters," becomes difficult and dangerous. Humanitarians tell stories. Saving the lives of others may create enemies, especially if lives saved contravenes that ill-wishes of others.

Again, we need more Nnamdis in Nigeria. Please release him if you are holding him captive. I wish Mr. Nnamdi a safe return.
