Good afternoon my people.

My profile just got updated after 5 weeks. However, it’s strange the update is reviewing medical when I didn’t submit an upfront medical. Is this normal?

PS: Eligibility review has not even started

Did you receive a mail about this update?

Seemingly long post.

I’ll start by thanking God for all Be’s done. It was ALL Him.

Thanks to you guys as well, you’ve been great!!

Ps. I met @phocusjosh at the VFS office, really nice lad!

So I’ll break down the timeframe and what I submitted to maybe encourage or inform TRV hopefuls (you’ll definitely get it soon)

Timeline.

Applied - May 7th
Biometrics - May 8th
Medical call - June 7th
Passport request - June 27th

What I submitted.

1. Letter of Acceptance

2. Passport

3. SOA with about 13 million

4. Pension statement

5. Letter from employer

6. Letter of explanation - about 4 pages

7. One landed property

8. Police report

9. Upfront Medical

10. Letter showing partial scholarship from the university

11. Document showing change of name

12. Evidence of refusal of UK visa (I now have it)

13. Transcript and university degree certificate

Ps I have some travel history and visas (Uk, Tanzania)

I think that was all. I’ll add if I remember anymore.

Please contact me if anything.

Thanks.

And all the UofM people, hit me up!

Congrats to everyone with approvals already. May God guide your steps.

Seeing what some of ya'all submitted is alone to scare somebody sef, but God dey grin

Meanwhile, i applied since April 20th and i have not heard pekem from them, and yes! quite a number of people that did after that have gotten feedbacks, even though i understand that application conditions are quite different. However, i would like to contact them to know what's going on or possibly see if that would help to make it faster. How best can i go about that?

Thank you.
Cheers!

I would imagine your email was wrongly typed, or the delivery process was delayed. You need to contact CIC or a visa office nearest to you. Biometric mail comes immediately an application is submitted. Praying is good, but you do not have to wait; go there!
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 14 by dubaiboy1: 9:53pm On Jun 28, 2018
I've had an amazing person checked out my SOP but I wouldn't mind if any other person out here will be kind enough to check for me again ... I don't mind all the opinions and ideas.. Preparing to submit my paper application next week.

Thanks and God bless...

Cc: @yeahkim, That's not entirely true, there are cases where applicants don't get biometric invitation even after 2 weeks of applying. The only time you get to do biometric during submission is via paper route, as for online route you will be mailed when they have space for you(that's one of the advantage paper route has over online).

Ok. From my experience however, people get biometric mail right after their online submission is successfully received. Again, you may be right since things may also depend on locations and availability of schedule. I hope he hears from them asap. Thanks for your contribution.
